INSIDE EVERY LIBERAL IS A TOTALITARIAN SCREAMING TO GET OUT -- Frontpage mag
Pookie, I thought you'd appreciate how a "toon" can inspire someone to write an essay to elaborate.
Here's what I wrote today for my FB page which was derived in thought from the above meme.

Obama was President from 2008-2016 and driving around Concord I saw, and still see, plenty expressions of Obama support. No surprise, this is serious Democrat territory!
As Americans, we're engaged in this democracy experiment. It has its sides, but it has one basic rule so we can "coexist" as a Nation and people. We're founded on a bedrock of mutual respect. When one side wins, the other loses obviously, but we then come together. After this last election our Nation has drifted away from this bedrock principle. It has been clear that the farther we allow ourselves to drift away from mutual respect, the more ungovernable we're becoming.
If we're unable to abide by the results of an election, the boundaries of mutual respect dissolve, and this results in all kinds of nefarious behavior. Sinister and illegal behaviors then begin to look justifiable and acceptable. After all, "When the cause is right, can the behavior be wrong?" This is a perversion of justice, but it begins to sound reasonable. Soon we rationalize our misdeeds.
I'm describing an America that has lost faith in God and its basic confidence in the goodness of its fellow citizens. In the last presidential campaign, a good portion of America's citizens were proudly identified as "deplorable." So how is that supposed to work post election? In this case the "deplorables" won! So now what?
Yielding to such harmful ideas of our fellow Americans, means we are beginning to resemble the more primitive countries where democracy won't work. Once this way looking at each other becomes accepted, our democratic experiment called America, founded on mutual respect, suffers a dangerous setback and if it persists, a fatal blow.
Mutual respect for each other is that important! When we're encouraged to abandon this, the protections afforded each other, quickly vanish as well. The winners dominate and say things like "Elections have consequences." If you ask me, we're there. We're eerily close to being a people with little to no mutual respect for those who disagree with us.
Are you guilty of wanting, most of all, to assert your agenda over others? Have you decided that things will be, "My Way or No Way!" ??? My way - by any means necessary, or It's No Way! It sure looks like this is our ungovernable dilemma we're facing today. Soon we'll learn that there's no liberty and no justice in this model. It's a totalitarian model, one of dominating rule. It has "losers" and it has "deplorables" and these losers don't deserve respect. They must be ruled!
There's no good will with this model, which is America adrift.
