First lady: Kids will ‘eventually’ embrace new school lunches

First lady Michelle Obama is “confident” that controversial changes to school lunch programs undertaken after her lobbying will “eventually be embraced by kids.”
In an interview with Cooking Light magazine to mark the fifth anniversary of her Let’s Move initiative, the first lady says that she sees the effort as “generational.” Eventually, Obama argues, schools will be filled with children who never knew meals that did not conform to new nutritional standards.
“We’re really thinking about the kids who are kindergartners today,” Obama said. “If all they know are whole grains and vegetables, by the time they’re graduating from high school, this will be their norm; they won’t know anything different.”
"Many people under mind control techniques are expected to go through long periods without food or sleep, supposedly for a spiritual cleansing. However, weakening the physical body is the goal of such brainwashing efforts, because it is easier to weaken someone's emotional will when they are not feeling well physically.
Empty chicken nuggets, ‘thimble-sized’ portions, rotten fruit
Desperate students are still taking to Twitter to reveal the horrors of school lunch under First Lady Michelle Obama’s rules, including empty chicken nuggets and complaints that meals taste like “prison food.”
While the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) raves about “locally sourced chicken sandwiches” that meet nutrition standards served in a school district in South Carolina, students across the country complain about what they are eating under the new rules.
“My poor little sister has to eat prison food #ThanksMichelleObama,” one student tweeted on Friday.
Students are unhappy about their “chickpea sliders” and whole grain pizza, mandated by the Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act, which was championed by Mrs. Obama. The USDA has a 33-page guide—complete with flow charts—telling schools how they can meet the whole grain requirements.

Then it is too bad you and your lazy muslim husband will be exiled to Hawaii in a couple short years or your nonsense would take hold.
BTW, can anyone think of a First Lady's dopey time wasting initiatives lasting past their term? About the only one I can think of is Lady Byrd and her highway flower crap because weeds come back every year.

What gives her the right to dictate what foods children eat at school?!
Mark my words, it's only a matter of time and this will be in the home as well.
I kinda like this overreach into the kiddies lunches. It is a daily reminder of how bad govt' is and it is exposing a generation of usually brain dead punks to the perils of Liberalism right where is counts....their bellies.
"Lunch menu at Sidwell Friends School for 10, February, 2015:"
I wonder why no one has ever challenged the Moose on this point. Is her person sacrosanct to the media and they are terrified of looking like they may be attacking her? She needs to be asked about the Sidwell menus as compared to the swill she's forcing on the nation's children (with no apparent authority to do so, btw).
Allahu Akbar" is Arabic for "Nothing to see here"~~Mark Steyn explaining the reaction of Obama, Hollande, et. al., to Muslim terror attacks.

The demonization of beef and promotion of vegan diets also serve the same purpose - to weaken many of us physically and mentally.
ZitatChronic hunger and energy deprivation profoundly affects mood and responsiveness. The body responds to energy deprivation by shutting or slowing down nonessential functions, altering activity levels, hormonal levels, oxygen and nutrient transport, the body's ability to fight infection, and many other bodily functions that directly or indirectly affect brain function. People with a consistently low energy intake often feel apathetic, sad, or hopeless
Proteins and mental health
Proteins are made up of amino acids linked together in various sequences and amounts. The human body can manufacture some of the amino acids, but there are eight essential amino acids that must be supplied in the diet. A complete or high-quality protein contains all eight of the essential amino acids in the amounts needed by the body. Foods rich in high-quality protein include meats, milk and other dairy products, and eggs. Dried beans and peas, grains, and nuts and seeds also contain protein, although the protein in these plant foods may be low in one or more essential amino acid.
Protein intake and intake of individual amino acids can affect brain functioning and mental health. Many of the neurotransmitters in the brain are made from amino acids. The neurotransmitter dopamine is made from the amino acid tyrosine. The neurotransmitter serotonin is made from the amino acid tryptophan. If the needed amino acid is not available, levels of that particular neurotransmitter in the brain will fall, and brain functioning and mood will be affected. For example, if there is a lack of tryptophan in the body, not enough serotonin will be produced, and low brain levels of serotonin are associated with low mood and even aggression in some individuals.
