Stop trying to make the Ferguson protests something they weren’t. And, just as importantly, stop trying to make Michael Brown, the man shot to death during a fight with police Office Darren Wilson in August, something he wasn’t.
“If you look at the most credible evidence, the lessons are really basic ... don’t rob a convenience store. Don’t fight with a policeman when he stops you and try to take his gun. And when he yells at you to stop, just stop.”
Sammy Davis, Jr., huh? Anyone besides me the Second City sendup of Davis' one time talk show with Joe Flaherty as the host, Eugene Levy as the unfunny comedian, Catherine O'Hara as the drug addled grade B movie actress, and so on? That was truly funny stuff. I always preferred Second City to SNL. Far more clever.
Allahu Akbar" is Arabic for "Nothing to see here"~~Mark Steyn explaining the reaction of Obama, Hollande, et. al., to Muslim terror attacks.

My pleasure, Cincinnatus!
I liked some of the early SNL, but also like Fridays...sometimes more...
Oh, I remember Fridays. If I recall it was ABC's attempt to rip off SNL. Yes, early SNL was funny, perhaps because it had such a good cast, or just the fact it was just so fresh and unusual. I sill vote Second City as the best of the three and, like SNL, it had a great cast, many of whom, like SNL alumni, went on to bigger and better things.
