Phil Robertson on ISIS: 'Convert Them or Kill Them'
on Breitbart TV 2 Sept 2014, 8:40 PDT
“Duck Dynasty” patriarch and author of “unPHILtered: The Way I See It,” Phil Robertson, said that the only solution to deal with ISIS is to either “convert them or kill them” on Tuesday’s broadcast of “Hannity” on the Fox News Channel.
“Convert them or kill them. One or the other ... It's not like a county with a standing army, and we line up and do battle with a certain amount of rules...we’re going to have to deal with this group way more harshly than we have up until this point,” Robertson stated.
“We make men without chests and expect from them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honor and are shocked to find traitors in our midst.” C.S. Lewis, The Abolition of Man
ISIS is just doing what Jihadis have been doing through out the centuries, working toward a global caliphate.
I wonder why the media has only just recently taken notice of the barbous behavior. Distraction ? Make Hamas and al Quaeda look 'moderate'. Another spate of regime change and national building to enrich global finance and corporate ?
I fully expect the next round of propaganda to be warning against Islamophobia along with pathetic stories about hate crimes agains Moslems.
Quote: PzLdr wrote in post #2Much as I like Phil, I disagree. Skip the 'convert them' part.
Correct, we're at the "it's us or them" point. Phil's idea of converting them seems more rhetorical. History has been here before with these folks. CNN interviewing their Imam, assuring them that CNN won't be like FOX, but will be fair to his pov, etc., etc.??? That was total moral equivalency BS.
This ISIS crisis, these executioners calling out our feckless leader by name, is ten times worse than the Iraq threat that Geo Boy faced before he sent troops to topple Saddam. But the feckless one is going to send the Christians food supplies so they can survive?
Some ally we turn out to be.
