ZitatA May 7th solicitation by the U.S. Department of Agriculture seeks "the commercial acquisition of submachine guns [in] .40 Cal. S&W."
According to the solicitation, the Dept. of Agriculture wants the guns to have an "ambidextrous safety, semiautomatic or 2 round [bursts] trigger group, Tritium night sights front and rear, rails for attachment of flashlight (front under fore group) and scope (top rear), stock collapsible or folding," and a "30 rd. capacity" magazine.
They also want the submachine guns to have a "sling," be "lightweight," and have an "oversized trigger guard for gloved operation."
The solicitation directs "all responsible and/or interested sources...[to] submit their company name, point of contact, and telephone." Companies that submit information in a "timely" fashion "shall be considered by the agency for contact to determine weapon suitability."
Looks like yet another division of government is getting ready to develop, or already has developed, its own police/military unit. Could this be the fulfillment of Obama's plan to establish his own army?
"We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, and just as well-funded."
We were asked for ID to get into a national park but it is racist to ask for voter ID?~~Comment on FB

Yes I find it chilling that our government is working overtime to take guns away from its citizens, while at the same time increasing arms for even lowly government agencies such as the Department of Agriculture. Even a part-time student of history knows that all tyrannical regimes in history did this prior to complete takeover.
I know it sounds conspiracy theory and all that, but seriously - why would the Department of Agriculture need submachine guns? Seriously?
Attack of the killer tomatoes or simply increasing the arms of all government agencies prior to the complete removal of guns from private citizens?

No question. An under the radar way to amass an army of brown shirts by placing units in various departments of the fourth branch of government. Every now and then these unite get a little practice such as rustling abusing Bundy's cattle.
Notice how all these agencies, no matter what their original mandate, have undergone profound mission creep. They have signed on to the same package of statist policies such as social, environmental, economic, educational, 'justice', food security, 'sustainability', renewable energy ....,
I was curious and check out the USDA web site. There are programs devoted to civil rights, renewable energy, home land security, food security, housing assistance, outreach, climate solutions. let's move, cultural transformations.
The USDA has an annual budget of about $123 Billion. I wonder under what entry the machine guns purchases are hidden.

Which makes more sense?
cg, I don't think these agencies are being armed to disarm the American public.
I believe they're being armed to outgun the American public.
You know how commies are. They'd prefer an all-out bloodbath to peaceful subjugation any day of the week.
Plus that would eliminate a large number of useless eaters on both sides.
Read the Georgia Guidestones (The Left's Stonehenge) for an example of the maniacal ambitions of these left-wing, Global Fascist loons (Hussein Obama, Al Gore, the Clintons et. al.).
