Zitat Longtime conservative political strategist Roger Stone, who served eight presidents including Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan, has released a new book claiming LBJ had a hired hitman on retainer and used him to shoot the president.
In “The Man Who Killed Kennedy: The Case Against LBJ,” Stone says a convicted murderer named Malcolm Wallace was on the sixth floor of the depository that day. One of his fingerprints was found on a box there by police, Stone said.
Oswald was there too, on the second floor eating lunch, Stone says. “Oswald is a patsy. Wallace was the killer,” he told Fox News.
Stone claims that Kennedy was about to drop LBJ from the ticket as he ran for re-election, making LBJ a very desperate man.
Stone also notes that LBJ, who was from Dallas, had tremendous sway over local police and other authorities.
