A new bill signed by Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker lowers the state's lowest tax bracket from 4.4% to 4%.
Walker signed into law a bill that would take a $541 million tax cut and return $406 million to the state technical colleges, cutting their property taxes while targeting another $98 million for low-income taxpayers.
The bill was proposed in January and passed last week by the state assembly, 61-35.
The leftist media has been trying very hard to bury the success story; the New York Times devoted 10 lines to the story in the back of its A-section.
