"Destroys" is perhaps too strong a word but he gave a speech tonight that was a real stemwinder which seriously reamed Hilliary. This is the kind of speech he should have given for Romney in '12, but didn't. If you failed to see it earlier, enjoy it now.
BTW, my little friends, I note we haven't had too much to say about the Convention. Why is that? I have only been able to watch sporadically, but what I have seen I have liked.
What about the rest of you? Do we need a new category, even if temporarily, called "The Conventions"?

I've watched it both nights. Omarosa was there and that's a story indirectly from the convention. I can't think of much else I'd post though. My fave speech so far was Rudy's. Last night Dr Ben Carson gave an inspiring speech. People really liked Donald Trump Jr's speech...it was OK from my perspective. Putting his family out in front of America has been very good for humanizing the man and obviously he has done a great job at keeping his family together.
The whole first night got overshadowed by the morning-after Melania plagiarism blow back. Ho-hum to that claim. Melania delivered it so much better than Moochy. Melania actually lives the claims of hard work though and she was so much easier to watch. Moochy and her man can't keep their word or accept any responsibility for their own actions. It's always someone else's fault for them. At least they've dropped the 'it's Bush's fault' mantra for the last year in office.

Maybe now is the time for a natural born killer, a ruthless fighter, a warrior. Because right about now we need a miracle, or America is finished. Maybe the rules of gentleman don’t apply here. Maybe a gentleman and “all-around nice Christian” would lead us to slaughter." Wayne Allyn Root
I'm watching, but the non-stop Melania plagerism attacks are depressing me. The Media creeps are relentless.
Keep in mind that this woman spoke for 35 minutes. What do we have, about 4 lines in question?
Trump camp would be damned no matter how they handled this. The media will talk about this for the next 5 months until there is a new distraction for them to obsess on. Does anyone really think they would want to discuss or focus on anything positive that happened?
Biggest lie of all: "If you just came right out and said it was plagerism we would drop it and move on." BTW, I don't recall them being remotely interested in similar situations involving Obama and Biden.
P.S. I agree, Rudy gave by far the best speech. I also like Dr. Carson's speech. But to listen to the talking heads you would think he was talking lunacy.
Don Jr. has a real future in politics, IMO. Looking forward to hearing Eric tonight and Ivanka tomorrow.

Thanks for posting. The convention gets going too late for me LOL. Thanks goodness for youtube.
Perhaps Christie did not have the same enthusiasm for Romney as for Trump or he sees the political winds shifting .
Christie can give a rousing speech and like Trump can reach the average person.
I've not been fan of his policies on illegals, and the ROP. however in the immediate aftermath of Sany I was impressed: Christie gave update twice a day including a running joke about how many intersections there are in NJ0, and did real practical things that would benefit the average working person, such as temp suspending reg regarding gas, and extending time for license and registration renewl for one moth.
Illegitimi non Carborundum
During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act.

Been so involved watching haven't had time to post anything - lol.
Loved Christie (AND Donald Jr.'s speeches last night. Am I too old to say what an impressive young man + 'what a hunk' statement?)
Been sidetracked I guess, but I have to admit when the crowd was chanting "Lock her up!" I was chanting "Burn the witch!"
This became particularly relevant after Carson's allusion to what is in the introduction of Saul Alinsky's book "Rules for Radicals" and his (Alinsky) admiration of Lucifer!!!
A word of praise for someone who is not a major public figure: Tiffany Trump.
Not only is she as cute as a bug, but she's only 22 years old, just graduated from college, and unlike Ivanka and the two boys, is not used to public exposure. Nonetheless facing a huge audience (some say 40+ million) she gave a good speech which was personal and touching. The only downside I could find when looking up her biographical details is that she's dating (ladies, cover your eyes) a Democrat.

There are things in a relationship that transcend one's political perspective. I mean one's personality is so much more important.
