Quote: conservgramma wrote in post #14Have to disagree heartily with Cruz here. No polls (and I do mean NO) show Cruz beating Hillary. This is statistically impossible based on ACTUAL voting so far. Trump has been winning over Cruz in every single category: men, women, higher education, lower education, race, religion, and he's been pulling in blue collar democrats and independents. If you can't get a certain % of the black vote, independent vote, and some blue collar Dems no way any GOP candidate wins the general. That is just fact. Cruz comes no where near that on ACTUAL voting stats -- but Trump does.
#2 If Cruz can't beat Trump in the primary in what la la land is he living where he is the only candidate who can beat him? No one so far is beating Trump. The best shot they have is a brokered convention where they pretty much plan to steal the thing. And if they manage to succeed with that I can 100% guarantee you the nominee won't be Cruz. It will be Bush or Romney. Think on that one for a bit.
#3 Adding Neil Bush to his campaign forever settles Cruz's connections to the establishment. He's GOPe all the way and has been since he worked for GW Bush. He's just managed to snooker a bunch of people. Neil Bush joining the campaign and Cruz's attacks against Trump in the attempted Chicago Reichstag Fire pretty much blew the lid off his being an 'outsider'.
#4 If he continues to harp on Trump releasing this or releasing that - Trump needs to hit him on unsealing his citizenship records - particularly that missing CRBA form. That'll shut him up real quick.
A classic example of gramma straight talk right there
