Obama greeted by hundreds of pro-gun protesters in Oregon '15 minutes after the shooting happened. He politicized it: The bodies weren't even cold' Published: 14 hours ago Leo Hohmann
Hundreds of protesters greeted President Obama’s motorcade in Roseburg, Oregon, Friday as a group called “Defend Roseburg” held signs and waved banners while others silently turned their backs as the motorcade rolled by.
Obama came to Roseburg, the White House said, to mourn with family members of the nine victims shot dead by a gunman at Umqua Community College on Oct. 1.
“We’re going to have to come together as a nation to deal with this issue,” Obama said. “But today is about the families.”
In fact Obama’s Democrat loyalists in the Senate led by Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., have already readied several gun control bills. If those don’t pass, the White House said Friday the president is considering taking unilateral action by executive order to create new federal background checks for firearms purchases, ABC News reported.
Many protesters in Roseburg said they were not in a mood to welcome a president who so quickly and callously politicized a tragedy. Some came with their guns to make their point. All were peaceful.
I listened to O'Reilly for a few minutes last night (I was stuck in traffic, ok?), and he said, something about there were "only hundreds, not thousands" (I don't know who claimed there were), and a roughly equal number of pro-0 protesters, and that all the families did meet with the big 0. Sometimes I wonder if O'Reilly is on the side of angels or not. Maybe he's just a contrarian. If our side says it is so, he has to look for ways to deny it. I don't know.

In order for him to think he's not biased I agree, at times he lays it on pretty thick to the conservatives. And honestly those times he does it, seem to makes little sense. Why bother? The libs hate him and won't watch Fox so who's he playing to?

I think it might be because then he can go on things like The View and state he is not a Conservative, he's a populist. Your right though, "The libs hate him..." partly because he's on Fox and partly, mainly, because he does not spout the Liberal line as they do on MSNBC. That last is unforgivable.
One of the groups which was soliciting members to go and protest Obama's visit was Oath Keepers. If they post anything on the numbers pro and con, I will add them as Oath Keepers can be trusted.
