Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina argued feminism should be taken back “for all women, not just for those who believe in the litany of the left” in an interview broadcast on Monday’s broadcast of “The Cycle” on MSNBC.
Fiorina began by stating, “I’m not running because I’m a woman. I’ve never been a token in my life. But the facts are, I am a woman and I’m very proud to be a woman and I’m very proud to be able to talk with the 54% of voters who are women. And I do think it’s important that as a party we are as diverse as the nation we hope to represent.”
When asked if the Republican Party needs to do a better job at minority outreach, she responded, “Well, I think one of the things we can’t do is play identity politics. That’s the Democrat Party’s game. But I also think that sometimes the Republican Party, in its tone, is judgmental when we need to be empathetic. Sometimes, I think we need to acknowledge reality, and the reality is that women’s potential still is not fully utilized in this country. And it’s to everyone’s advantage that women’s potential be fully utilized, not because women are better than men, but because women are half the potential in this nation.”
Fiorina also addressed the issue of feminism, Fiorina said she considers herself a feminist and that “I’m tired of women who are conservative like me being dismissed by others because we don’t agree with them. And I think it’s time to take that word back, for all women, not just for those who believe in the litany of the left.”
Fiorina also said of the debate rules, “what I’m focused on is getting that top ten. So, I’m going to work really hard to do that. But you’re absolutely right, debates are important for me. Because the debates are an opportunity for the American people to get to know me and for the contrast between my experience, which is altogether different from anyone else running, not to mention the fact I look a little different.”

You and me both Pz.
I started out posting her stuff because she was a gadfly opponent to 'Shrillery', speaking truth where nobody else dared speak.
But lately she is emerging as a factor to be reckoned with, a person with good understanding of our flawed history and good suggestions of new directions we need.

It may be fun to watch Carley eviscerate the Hilldebeast. Before y"all get too enamored of her, remember she destroyed HP and speaks with forked tongue like any good member of the eGOP. Carley is a died in the wool globalist who never met any CHEAP H-1B worker or CHEAP off shore worker she didn't like. Any H-!B's she mentions in the article below were used in the US as liaisons with CHEAP off shore workers.
Fiorina Slams Disney, Then Admits She Used H-1B Program At HP Rachel Stoltzfoos 9:57 PM 06/10/2015 "The big businesses clamoring for access to more foreign workers claim there is a shortage of American STEM workers. But nearly 75 percent of Americans with STEM degrees are not working in STEM Fields, according to Census data.
Fiorina was quick to defend the H-1b program when Carr confronted her with that data. “There is no reason for us to fear highly skilled immigrants who want to come to this country and stay here and live here and contribute to our nation,” she said. “After all, this is a nation built on immigration.”
The New HP Way: World's Cheapest Consultants Date: Thursday, December 05, 2002 10:12 PM "HP seems to feel that the way to "damage" IBM is to get cheaper labor from India and China. It seems as though the newest corporate fad is to brag about how cheap their labor costs are. The winners in this race to the bottom are the ones who can squeeze their workers the most. How far away are we from slavery?" http://web.archive.org/web/2008072415025..._qh_1205hp.html
The New HP Way: World's Cheapest Consultants Quentin Hardy, 12.05.02, 11:26 AM ET
NEW YORK - Tech giant Hewlett-Packard has seen the future of technology consulting. It's on the other side of the globe and it's really, really cheap.
"We're trying to move everything we can offshore," HP Services chief Ann Livermore told Wall Street analysts at a meeting Wednesday. "We're aggressively realigning our resources." Short term, that means adding to the software and services personnel HP (nyse: HPQ - news - people ) already has in India. Further out, HP expects China to also turn into a major consulting center.
The plan addresses a trend toward lower-priced consulting that's been hurting HP. The company's $3.1 billion fourth-quarter services revenue (total fourth-quarter revenue was just over $18 billion) was off 3% from a year before. Consulting and integration revenue was the weakest part of services, down 17% on the year. Livermore, with the blessing of Chief Executive Carly Fiorina, is betting that HP can both lower its costs and damage industry leader IBM (nyse: IBM - news - people ) by slashing services prices with cheaper bodies. ......................................................... http://www.forbes.com/home/2002/12/05/cz_qh_1205hp.html
I like what I have been hearing from her too, at least over the past few months. At least she does take questions and doesn't do the dodge and run. I also have yet to see the deer in the headlights look in her eye.
Unfortunately, I think they are all globalists. I have therefore pretty much given up and expect another election where I'll be holding my nose and voting for the least horrible option.
I hope I am completely settled into my Idaho digs before the SHTF...I am sure the next few years will not be pretty.

Don't worry @algernonpj I didn't say I was going to vote for her. I am impressed with and enjoying her campaign ability, that's all.
Not to worry, I still recall who our last excellent campaigner.
