I was doing a little research on Ovaltine. What does that have to do with anything you ask? Well I recently bought a jar of it and quite liked it and was surprised to see it was owned by Nestle. But getting to the point, one of the early ads featured the health benefits of having Ovaltine before bed. Imagine that? Here's the ad....
This ad made me realize how drastically our world has changed in one lifetime! Waking up "Gay!" ??? It hardly means the same thing it did before. It's quite amazing! I decided not to take a chance. I won't be having Ovaltine as a before-bedtime snack.

I remember some old Nestle's chocolate TV ads; don't remember the Ovaltine ads quite as well. I do know that many of the 50s-60s song hits used the word "gay" a lot...
