Pookie the same toon could be used to highlight the Dem's hefty past use of the filibuster. But since they so desperately want their Voting Rights Bill to pass [what a misnomer!!!] with just a simple majority, they're labeling the filibuster, a Jim Crow relic. EVEN THOUGH they used it themselves 327 times in 2020, compared to only once by GOP. And EVEN THOUGH they used the filibuster themselves last week! [on Jan 14th] to block Ted Cruz's bill sanctioning Russia's Nord Stream 2 pipeline, which had 55 votes.
