Joe Biden, 77, said Thursday night during a CNN town hall that his deceased son Beau Biden was the “Attorney General of the United States.”
Only he wasn’t.
Beau Biden was the Attorney General of Delaware from 2007 until he passed away in 2015.
A member of the audience asked old Joe how he would ‘restore the barriers between the DOJ and Oval Office’ if he were to be elected president.
Biden went on an unhinged tirade about how he has never seen a DOJ so abused and weaponized as he has seen under the Trump admin.
Perhaps Biden’s dementia prevents him remembering how Obama weaponized the DOJ and FBI to spy on Trump’s 2016 campaign?
“I have never, never, never — including when I got elected as a kid at 29-years-old when Nixon was president — this is not an exaggeration that no one, no one has abused that office or weaponized it, flat out weaponized it,” Biden said.
Biden argued that the DOJ is not the president’s personal lawyer then somehow brought up his deceased son Beau and how he was the US Attorney General.
“My son — my deceased son, was the Attorney General of the United States and before that, he was a federal prosecutor in one of the largest office’s in the country in Philadelphia,” said Biden.
