This is what "Telling truth to power" really means....
ZitatComedian Jim Norton didn't toe the liberal line when HuffPost Live invited him to appear on its show this week.
Norton, best known for his work on the Opie & Anthony radio program, berated MSNBC and its array of hosts as well as the toxic notion of politically correct dialogue during his Tuesday appearance.
MSNBC host Rev. Al Sharpton has "been an absolute pig for many years, and he gets away with it because everyone’s afraid just to tell him exactly what a complete a**hole he is," Norton raged.
He wasn't done.
He criticized MSNBC for punishing [Anchor Alec] Baldwin, while ignoring the “jackass” Al Sharpton....
He elaborated on his criticism of Sharpton, saying “no one has said worse things publicly than Al Sharpton.” He specifically cited Sharpton’s comments about “white interlopers” in 2000 and “Greek homos” in 1994. Norton also brought up the incident where Sharpton lied while promoting Tawana Brawley’s rape allegations in 1987.
According to Norton, liberals consistently impose a politically correct standard on everyone besides Hollywood actors: “Why is it OK for actors to use any language in any context they want?” He elaborated, saying “[liberals say] don’t say the n-word, that’s terrible, but if an actor screams that, it’s perfectly acceptable.
There's been a dearth of speaking the truth to these bullies. Fear of being called racist keeps people from saying how it is, when it really needs to be said. Bravo to Norton!!! Sarah Palin has been called such horrendous names by the liberal creeps, Cher and Bashir. How about holding them accountable for their hate speech?
There's no longer an anti-war Left. There's only an anti-Right Left
Quote: truthkeeper wrote in post #10I remember when my ex surprised me with one of those things. At least that big. $950 from J.C. Penney.
I have one of the first VCR's sold in the US. A Panasonic that cost the same as a new Chevy in the 70's. It still works and records and plays a cleaner picture than DVD.
It has it's own VHF and UHF tuners and weights a ton.
