People we once looked to for commonsense guidance and a fair assessment of issues based on facts, are now hyper-emotional looney tunes, spreading CNN-esque hyperbole based on their feelings and their globalist (anti-Trump) agenda. One of those people is the once well-respected Judge Andrew Napolitano.
Conservatives have noticed that there’s something very wrong over at Fox News.
The once “fair and balanced” conservative-minded network has been taking a very hard left turn. Rumor has it that one reason for the left-turn is thanks to notorious globalist and Trump-hater Paul Ryan, who now sits on the board at Fox Corp. A recent report claims that Ryan is pushing Fox News to make a “break” with President Trump.
I am old enough to remember when the judge was the “voice of reason,” and a calming sense of rationale during the fake news sh*t-storms.
Now, sadly, Judge Nap is the fake news sh*t-storm.
During the 2016 election, Judge Nap was definitely a “Cruz guy,” and he went after President Trump often. However, after the election, Judge Nap seemed to slowly warm up to President Trump and was back to delivering his usual commonsense, fact-based commentary on issues.
But then something changed.
It was as if Judge Nap went from being “fair and balanced” to being a stand-in on the Rachel Maddow show.
So what happened?
Well, a lot, apparently.
It sounds as if Judge Nap is holding a very large, very deep and seething grudge against President Trump – possibly for passing him up for the SCOTUS…at least that’s what a 2017 report from Politico suggests.
Judge Andrew Napolitano may be temporarily sidelined at Fox News, but he’s been telling friends and associates that he could be in for a big promotion — to the Supreme Court.
After meeting with President Trump twice during the transition, first in December and again in mid-January, the Newark, N.J.-born television personality told several people that Trump said he was on the list of judges from whom he was selecting a nominee for the high court.
“He said, ‘Trump said I’m on the list,’” said a source who spoke with Napolitano shortly after one of his meetings with the then president-elect. “He’s been saying that since the transition.”
Friends warned Napolitano not to take the president too literally – or seriously. “He’ll take your call and invite you to the Oval Office, but he just wants you to say nice things about him on TV,” the source says he told Napolitano at the time. But that didn’t sink the ambitious judge’s hopes. You’ll recall, Judge Nap was actually “fired” from Fox News after he stuck up for Trump and called out the British foreign surveillance agency, and the Government Communications Headquarters for “most likely” providing Obama with transcripts of Trump’s recorded calls. “By bypassing all American intelligence services, Obama would have had access to what he wanted with no Obama administration fingerprints,” Napolitano wrote in a column on the Fox News website.
Fox eventually rehired Judge Nap, when the claim he made about British intelligence and Obama turned out to be true.
But here we are today, and Judge Nap is on a downward spiral of Trump-hate and fake news – he’s siding with Democrats, like Adam Schiff, and to make matters even worse, Nap has partnered up with that other hysterical Fox News diva, Shep Smith to bash Trump.
Fox News legal analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano, once a staunch defender of objective truth, has provoked a firestorm with his agreement with Democratic clown car passenger Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) that President Trump committed a crime in his July 25 phone conversation with Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelensky. As Fox News reported:
Judge Andrew Napolitano told Fox News host Shepard Smith on Tuesday that the president effectively confessed to a crime when he admitted he asked Ukraine to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter.
Napolitano, a Fox News senior judicial analyst, had framed President Trump’s earlier statement as an admission that he tried to “solicit aid for his campaign from a foreign government.”
“So that to which the president has admitted is in and of itself a crime,” Smith followed. Napolitano responded, “yes,” and claimed it was the same crime former Special Counsel Robert Mueller investigated as part of the long-running Russia investigation. American Thinker It’s as if Judge Nap is searching high and low for any way possible to “stick it” to President Trump, even if it costs him his professional reputation.
Napolitano’s comments constituted as much of a parody of the truth as the fable spun by House Intelligence Committee chairman Schiff’s recent interrogation of acting director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire over the transcript of the call, which suggests nothing of the sort. Zelensky himself said he was not “pushed” by Trump into investigating the corruption of the Bidens. So there was no quid pro quo, no bribe of a foreign leader to interfere in the 2020 election as reported by a “whistleblower” who was not a member of the Intelligence Community and had no firsthand knowledge of the call. American Thinker
During an appearance on Tucker Carlson’s show, former U.S. attorney Joe DeGenova responded to Judge Nap’s foolish assessment with this:
TUCKER CARLSON: "So it’s hard with a story this political to get to the basic legal questions here. So to what the president did or said he did in this conversation with the head of state of Ukraine. Now, I heard to the effect on our air, I heard Judge Andrew Napolitano say that what the president has admitted to doing is a crime. Quote, “it is a crime.” Is it a crime? You’re a former federal prosecutor."
JOE DIGENOVA: "Well, I think Judge Napolitano is a fool. And I think what he said today is foolish. No, it is not a crime. Let me underscore emphatically that nothing that the president said on that call or what we think he said on that call constitutes a crime. And even if he had said, you’re not going to get the money, it would not be a crime.
But facts no longer matter to the deranged judge. He’s teamed up with Shep, and this new dynamic Dem duo is now on a song-and-dance mission to legitimize this Ukraine fiasco and trash Trump – and apparently they have Fox News’ blessing to do so."

Quote: Cincinnatus wrote in post #2I know the piece is about Judge Nap, but this comment struck me as too funny and too true: that other hysterical Fox News diva, Shep Smith
Yeah, he's chummin up to the diva! Big mistake!
"Judge Andrew Napolitano may be temporarily sidelined at Fox News, but he’s been telling friends and associates that he could be in for a big promotion — to the Supreme Court."
If indeed he was being queried regarding such an appointment, he has proven conclusively that he's not Supreme Court timber.
