Michelle Obama Claims People Dismiss Presidency After Barack: ‘If a Black Guy Can Do It, Anybody Can’ WARNER TODD HUSTON 7 Jul 20191
In a Saturday interview, former first lady Michelle Obama insisted that Americans now dismiss the U.S. presidency because a black man was recently in the office.
Speaking to TV host Gayle King during the 2019 Essence Festival at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, Obama exclaimed that husband Barack made the presidency “look too easy,” Fox News reported.
“I guess it’s kind of like if the black guy can do it, anybody can do it — and that’s not true. It’s a hard job,” Michelle told the crowd.
Obama also reminded the audience that she was often portrayed as “an angry black woman who was emasculating her husband.” She added that America is afraid of “the strength of a black woman.”
Indeed, it was Michelle Obama who said that she was never proud of America until her husband became the Democrat nominee.
Just before the Wisconsin primary in 2008, Michelle was attempting to introduce Barack at a rally when she said that with her husband on the fast track to becoming president of the United States she was finally proud of America. “For the first time in my adult life, I am really proud of my country because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback,” she said on the stage.
At the Essence Festival, the former first lady also took a swipe at President Trump, though she did not mention his name.
“The leader of the free world with a tweet can start a war, can crush an economy, can change the future of our children,” she said. Obama then insisted that the president must have “deep seriousness and focus… with a clear base of facts and ideas.”
Michelle Obama: Trump Inauguration Crowd ‘Not Reflective’ of America TONY LEE 8 Jul 2019
Former First Lady Michelle Obama said on Saturday evening that President Donald Trump’s inauguration “was not reflective of the country” while speaking to Gayle King at Essence Fest in New Orleans.
Obama spoke about how emotional she was during Trump’s inauguration because she had to move her two children out of the only house they had really known before having to listen to “that speech.”
“Then to sort of sit at that inauguration and to look around at a crowd that was not reflective of the country,” Obama said. “It was just such the opposite… During Barack’s inauguration, we made sure that the crowd looked like all of America. Having the Tuskegee airmen, having civil rights folks, having folks who had marched. You could look out at his crowd and you would see America. All of it.”
Obama said she was just “one of a handful of people of color” at the inauguration and “it was a lot emotionally.”
“And I had to sit in that audience, one of a handful of people of color, and then listen to that speech, and all that I had sort of held on to for eight years, watching my husband get raked over the coals, feeling like we had to do everything perfectly, no scandal, no nothing,” she said. “It was a lot emotionally.”
Obama added that she was exhausted after eight years of thinking she and her husband had to be “better than perfect to even be considered equal.”
“So by the time I got on the plane, it was a release of eight years of having to try to show up, as we all know we have to do, we have to show up not only perfectly but a little bit better than perfect to even be considered equal,” she said. “And it was an exhaustion of eight years of that.”
These people are always and ever miserable. Instead of exulting in the fact this country elected its first mulatto as President, she looks for new ways to complain, carp, and cavil. It must be hell to be them.
The military wing of the Democrat Party used to wear white hoods. That has now been replaced with black hoodies.

The worst part is that they insist on sharing.
