This is truly amazing. TB had been eradicated here in the US but now it is showing up in a high school in a town of just over 125,000 souls in northwest Kansas. How can this possibly be explained?

"OLATHE, Kan. — The state health department says 27 people have tested positive for tuberculosis after one student at Olathe Northwest High School was diagnosed with active TB in early March. Health officials says those infected have no signs of disease so far.

More than 300 students and staff at the high school were tested for TB...

Even though the sick student has not been in school since being diagnosed, Marsh says there still could be more cases of infection. It can take eight to ten weeks for the bacteria to show up in testing, so those who had contact with the student during the spring semester will need to have testing repeated in early May."

I sure hope the health authorities in Olathe resolve this medical mystery soon as no rational explanation readily presents itself.

Not so hard to figure out. We stopped giving TB vaccinations and then allowed illegals to bring it across the border. Bound to happen.

Personally if I come down with TB (as a I blame our genius congress critters for this fiasco) I will go to D.C. and go into the Capital and breathe and cough on as many of these lawmakers as I possibly can.

Remember last summer when the volume of children crossing our southern border became a "crisis" and a number of them were quietly dispersed throughout the US including, if I recall correctly, into Kansas.

Historians are going to have a ball analyzing the causes for our national suicide.
