I wonder if the Rats will figure out that not only will the GOP be decimated by flooding the country with deadbeat illegals, but also every single non Hispanic Rat politician. Looks like the Ballarina is going to lose to a no name Socialist just on the illegal vote....
ZitatDespite having tens of millions in his campaign coffers, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel could not reach the 50 percent threshold to win re-election this month.
Ahead of an April 7 runoff election, he is in a dead heat with opponent Jesus “Chuy” Garcia.
Chuy Garcia, 58, a member of the Cook County Board of Commissioners, and a one-time State Senator and Chicago City Councilman, received just over 26 percent of the vote. Along with several other candidates, Rahm was held only 48 percent, forcing him into a runoff.
Emanuel went into the election with a $30 million campaign war chest — but despite this overwhelming advantage, the former Obama chief of staff and one-term Mayor still could not reach that magic 50 percent.
In contrast, Garcia raised only around $1.5 million. Despite that monumental gap, it was quite enough not only to take second place in the past election but to close the gap to a near tie ahead of the runoff.
According to the Chicago Sun-Times, pollster Tom Swiss says that Garcia and Emanuel are “likely dead even” in the polls.
A recent poll found Emanuel pulling 42.9 percent to Garcia’s 38.5 percent with a margin of error of +/-3.2 putting Garcia nearly within the margin or error.
Emanuel’s campaign manager, Steve Mayberry, dismissed the results, saying that Emanuel will easily beat Garcia in the forthcoming runoff.
In the past election, Emanuel hurt from a lack of support among blacks, as well as a split in the union vote — the Chicago Teachers Union fought him. Meanwhile, Garcia enjoyed strong support from the city’s Hispanics.

The people of Chi town deserve the incompetent and corrupt Leftist Govt' they have voted for since the 1800"s. What is fun is to see Zero's boy getting his ass handed to him in a city where it is easy to buy votes if you need them

Did you know that the phrase, "Vote early and Vote often" had its origins in Chicago??? This from Wiki: "The phrase, however, did not find widespread use until the early 1900s when it was used in relation to the activities of organized crime figures in Chicago."

"Our problem is not the Islamic radical, but the inherent radicalism of Islam. Islam is a radical religion. It radicalizes those who follow it. Every atrocity we associate with Islamic radicals is already in Islam. The Koran is not the solution to Islamic radicalism, it is the cause."
"A runoff that was expected to be a slam dunk for Rahm Emanuel is turning out to be uncomfortably — even dangerously — close, leading the Chicago mayor to ready a scorched-earth offensive to save his job.
Recent polling shows the race between Emanuel and his unknown and underfunded rival, Jesus “Chuy” Garcia, has closed to within single digits. With local and national progressive groups lining up behind Garcia and promising to pour cash into the effort to deny Emanuel a second term, the mayor is suddenly scratching and clawing for his political existence.
“In Chicago, politics is a contact sport, and it looks like we’re going to have one of those full-contact battles,” said Bill Daley, a former White House chief of staff whose father and brother each served as Chicago mayor for more than 20 years.
Emanuel — once thought to be a shoo-in in the April 7 runoff — plans to launch an ad campaign in the coming days intended to discredit Garcia and cast him as a do-nothing pol who’s accomplished little during his two decades in public service, according to sources close to the mayor. The commercials will also present the mayor, who’s come under fire for closing underperforming schools in hardscrabble neighborhoods and for hiking taxes to close the city’s budget deficit, as someone who is willing to make tough decisions even if they aren’t popular."
