Hillary Rodham Clinton, who won’t yet say whether she is running for president, is assembling a massive campaign team-in-waiting that outstrips anything on a Republican side that remains factionalized and focused on knocking off one another.
At this point, without so much as an announcement, she has settled on — at the least — a campaign chairman, a campaign manager, a chief strategist and lead pollster, another pollster, a lead media adviser, a communication director, a deputy communications director, a focus group director and a communications strategist.
She is also closing in on a New York City campaign headquarters and a date to make all of this official.
God help us. If 2008 is any sign, she can win. This American Republic may be done for already, but we'll get to the bottom much more quickly with hillary.
Who cares. This is the same massive team that took her to a humiliating defeat against a no name Senator from Il. Now she is 8 years older and has a bigger closet full of skeletons.
Any talk of Hitlary running and being competitive is nothing more than MSM masturbation.

It certainly appears that some skeletons will come out of the Benghazi closet. Her time as SoS did nothing to enhance her portfolio.
Maybe that's why she's bene holding back on announcing.

Stop trying to make the Ferguson protests something they weren’t. And, just as importantly, stop trying to make Michael Brown, the man shot to death during a fight with police Office Darren Wilson in August, something he wasn’t.
“If you look at the most credible evidence, the lessons are really basic ... don’t rob a convenience store. Don’t fight with a policeman when he stops you and try to take his gun. And when he yells at you to stop, just stop.”

I suspect that whoever is selected to run and win (-D or -R), we will approach the bottom with accelerating speed.
I don't think so, Frank. No way 0 should have won in 2008, but he did, due to a massive behind the scenes machine, the willing compliance of the press, an ineffective and laughable GOP response, and a massive number of no-to-low information voters. What has changed?

Disagree. The Rats never win with a retread because their voting base doesn't get excited by known quantities. Look at the list of winners the last 4 decades. Carter, unknown GA Gov. Clinton, unknown AR Gov. Zero, unknown IL Senator. Rats don't do leftovers like the GOP consistently does.

Although you did not specify the behind the scenes machine. I guess you are including the loss of vote integrity as well as enforcement of the accepted status quo by both wings of the national party. That certainly hasn't changed.
Gosh, I look forward to the GOP pounding the airwaves with ads about her lies on Benghazi, attempting to join the USMC back in Arkansas, and fleeing sniper fire.

Oh wait...what am I thinking...
Silly you ... you are thinking we have an actual functioning opposition party instead of one party with two branches.
Algie, couple of other things I forgot to mention: (quoting part of a comment I read at another site) " if these guys could re-elect a POTUS with $4 gas, 8% unemployment, (13% actual), surging food prices, and trillion dollar deficits forever, and disastrous foreign policy, they have to be pretty awesome at running campaigns."
