I was wondering where the pot thing was going nationwide, but now we have a canary for this coalmine. If this broad is able to brand and market a profitable pot, it won't be long until there are heavy hitters like Starbucks, Nike and GE figuring out ways to cash in. At that point the flood gates will open and it will be legal everywhere....
ZitatA new strain of marijuana may be on the horizon, thanks to former talk show host Bethenny Frankel.
The new cannabis species will reportedly cater specifically to those who like to indulge in an occasional toke, but also care about their physique.
“Skinnygirl Mariuana” is planned for release in Alaska, Colorado, Oregon, and Washington, places where marijuana is legal for recreational use, according to sources.
“It will be a specifically engineered strain of pot designed to not give you the munchies,” a source told US Magazine.”She read about how profitable the cannabis industry is and wants to get in on that,” they said of Frankel’s new venture.
On Dec. 20, Frankel sent out a tweet regarding marijuana legalization in Aspen. “People walking into pot stores like it’s the @Gap #prohibitiondone,” she wrote.
This may be the perfect side project for the reality TV personality, as she’s reportedly in the middle of a nasty divorce with husband Jason Hoppy. “Jason turned down a $3 million settlement offer because he wanted more,” an insider told US.
While legal marijuana sales have skyrocketed recently, no strains have been specifically marketed to those seeking seeking to keep in shape.
Cue the Pink Floyd album marathons, but hold the gluten free chips; no need to have your mellow “harshed” by an overactive appetite.

Stop trying to make the Ferguson protests something they weren’t. And, just as importantly, stop trying to make Michael Brown, the man shot to death during a fight with police Office Darren Wilson in August, something he wasn’t.
“If you look at the most credible evidence, the lessons are really basic ... don’t rob a convenience store. Don’t fight with a policeman when he stops you and try to take his gun. And when he yells at you to stop, just stop.”
