De Blasio Gets Mixed Reaction At NYPD Graduation Ceremony Applause, Boos & Catcalls From Crowd While Mayor Addresses Class Of New Officers December 29, 2014 2:30 PM
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) – Mayor Bill de Blasio faced applause, boos and catcalls when he took the stage to address hundreds of new police recruits at a police graduation ceremony.
De Blasio spoke Monday at Madison Square Garden during a tense point in his relationship with the NYPD.
The 884 new police officers sat stoically in their seats when de Blasio was introduced. But some could be heard booing and heckling the mayor in the seats reserved for the cadets’ family and friends. Others cheered and applauded.

About a dozen or so people in the stands stood with their backs turned to de Blasio. But he continued praising the officers and received polite applause when he finished speaking.
The communists of the 60s era (who inspired the likes of DeBlasio and Obama) have succeeded beyond their wildest dreams in taking over the country. And they've done it mostly by filling the halls of academia, infiltrating the media, while at the same time wrecking public education to the point it has become public indoctrination.
Good job, Komrades!
But now what? Aren't these modern day Mao's, Lenin's and Stalin's supposed to be loved and adored? Weren't they supposed to usher in an age of peace, harmony and understanding?
These statist clowns are like the dog who endlessly chases the car and finally catches it. Now that he has it, what's he going to do with it?
DeBlasio wanted to be mayor - Zero wanted to be prez. They got it.
"DeBlasio wanted to be mayor - Zero wanted to be prez. They got it.
Now what?"
Booing at and turning one's back to the Statist du jour will be labeled a hate crime of the highest order... Right up there with criticizing any Dear Leader.
Obviously the perpetrator will need to be removed from civil society and reeducated.
