As Hillary Clinton continues to pretend she hasn’t decided whether to run for president in 2016 or not, she is non-committal on the events of the day all the while distancing herself from unpopular Obama administration policies. As such, a frosty relationship has formed between the former Secretary of State and the current White House occupant. All of that seems to have changed as Obama gave Clinton a ringing endorsement over the weekend, indicating that she smells good enough to be president.
What? Is Obama really discussing the various odors coming off of Hillary Clinton? Apparently so.
The AP reports:
In a nationally televised interview broadcast Sunday, Obama seemed to suggest that any Democrat other than him would provide the turn of the page that he says voters are interested in. He acknowledged the “dings” to his own political standing during nearly six years of sometimes bruising battles with Congress and said Americans will want something new.
“They want to drive something off the lot that doesn’t have as much mileage as me,” Obama said in the interview with ABC’s “This Week,” which was taped Friday in Las Vegas following a public appearance there by the president.
Obama then mentioned only Clinton by name as someone who would have that “new car smell” and make a “formidable candidate” and a “great president.”
ZitatObama: Hillary Clinton Has That ‘New Car Smell’
Maybe she has a new car smell, if someone was shot dead in that car and it sat with the decomposing body for a week in the sun. Actually, when I see this old bag in her ugly polyester pantsuits, I get the impression she smells like whiskey, Ben Gay and 4 day old Depends diapers.
