Texas Senator Ted Cruz appeared with Jay Leno Friday night. This wasn’t your usual twinkie-munch session Obama and Democrats normally get, but rather an adult conversation. A smart move by Cruz getting the message out to a wider audience. This can only help. His not coming across as some firebreathing madman as he’s been portrayed should panic Democrats.
He's a Princeton grad, a Harvard Law School grad who has presented arguments before the Supreme Court nine times, beginning when he was 32 yo. [Cruz actually did something with his Harvard Law degree] He was a friend of William Rehnquist and began in the Senate at age 42. He really isn't the backwater light weight that McCain and the lap dog press is making him out to be. For those unfamiliar with him, he comes across surprisingly warm and thoughtful, making them wonder what all the fuss is about?
He's a real leader, that's what.
