1. Imagine if I told you that by disagreeing with me or not supporting me you somehow had lost the autonomy to decide. Your first instinct would be that I was psychotic, delusional or just garden-variety liberal. The first dictum of persuasion is to not antagonize the person.
2. Similarly when a woman makes a pro- Choice decision, a woman who decides to be pro-life is no less imbued with the ability to make a choice. Any proclamation to the contrary is sure to offend least one group. When you want to influence people do not offend them
3. Imagine if I told you that those who don't support me are deplorable. I definitely have offended those I called deplorable. But there's a good chance that many who support me will find my characterization of my non-supporters unfair. They might even stop supporting me.
4. The very essence of feminism is grounded in the archetype of a woman with the ability to make decisions for themselves. These are decisions that don't necessarily meet Universal agreement from other women or feminists.
5. Remember liberals uphold the right of women to wear a hijab. Never once have I heard a liberal complain that the woman is wearing a hijab against their own will. In fact quite to the contrary. many people earnestly believe that these women are exercising their rights.
6. Similarly when a woman votes for Trump, she does so because she really wants to vote for Trump Or even possibly she'd never vote for Hillary. I know most women reading this thread are in agreement at least with the principle of this statement
7. Did you know that 49% of my followers are women? I mention that for a good reason. The reason is Hillary Rodham Clinton. She is in India. Clearly now has an even more tenous grip on reality than usual. She said this:
8. "We don't do well with married, white women [either]," she said. "Part of that is an identification with the Republican Party and [an] ongoing pressure to vote the way that your husband, your boss, your son... believes you should."
9. The implication here is that married white women, at least many of them are voting Republican because men in their lives are pressuring them to do so. This raises several interesting questions. Bear with me.
10. So white women, the same skin color Democrats called privileged, do not have the capacity to think themselves? In fact they're influenced not only by their husbands and Sons but by their bosses? So white women are not influenced by their daughters?
11. It also brings into question the Machinery of the voting system. How does anybody know who the white woman in question voted for? Are all these votes by white women being tallied and reported to the Democrats?
12. In fact if anyone was intimidated by their husband, son or boss into voting for a person they did not like they could simply pretend to say yes and vote for exactly who they wanted to. I thought that was the whole point of these elaborate checks and balances.
13. Am I to somehow possibly believe that the Integrity of the voting system is less secure than Twitter? Think about it. 49% of the people who follow me are women. I refuse to believe that their husbands, bosses or sons forced them to do so.
14. I find it paradoxical that the left constantly bleats about white privilege but doesn't seem to grasp the concept of autonomous white woman decision making. Women who voted for Trump will obviously be offended by Hillary's statement
15. But so will many women who don't particularly like Trump. Because this is like the deplorables comment. Except it is worse. It is the epitome of misogyny thinly-disguised as feminism. Yes misogyny. It is patently misogynistic to imply that women can't decide for themselves
16. We Men don't always agree with the women in our lives. The very basis of that disagreement is because the women in our lives make decisions that we don't agree with. The antithesis of what Hillary said.
17. This form of Half Baked poorly thought-out inflammatory and frankly offensive rhetoric is why Hillary lost. Her book should have been labeled "How To Lose Friends and alienate people"
18. As usually happens, a mealy mouthed poorly constructed apology will follow after a lot of people criticize Hillarys comments. Her supporters will point to the fact that her words were taken out of context.
19.
20. 'What happened in my election is I was on the way to winning white women until former director of the FBI Jim Comey dropped that very ill-advised letter on Oct. the 28th and my numbers just went down…
21. So she clearly has a problem with white women actually reading as well. This has me confused. She doesn't like white women listening to the men in their lives. But she also take umbrage at them reading what the FBI director has to say. What do these poor white women do?
22. I'll tell you what. Let women do what they want to do say and vote. Just like always before Hillary started courting dementia. And women, just be yourselves. Even when we have severe disagreements. We men couldn't live without you even when we can't live with you. - Fin
