NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) - Starting next week, 100 buses and two subway stations will display anti-Islam advertisements despite efforts by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority to block them.
The organization known as the American Freedom Defense Initiative, which has posted similar ads in the past in New York City, Boston and Washington, D.C., reportedly paid $100K for the campaign.
This time around, the posters feature slain American journalist James Foley on his knees next a photo of an Islamic State terrorist.
Another ad reads: Support Israel, Defeat Jihad.
A total of six ads will be posted with two going up at the 59th St- Columbus Circle Station and the 59th St Station.
A judge ruled in favor of the American Freedom Defense Initiative saying the ads were protected by the First Amendment.
