It seems Wolff's book is so bad even CNN has some questions about it's intent. Ya gotta love seeing the left eating its own.
Wolff to CNN: Question Me and You're Doing Trump's Bidding January 14, 2018 Daniel Greenfield
It's the ultimate battle of fake news.
CNN occasionally makes things up. Wolff mostly makes things up. In a #resistance battle over journalistic standards between these titans of fake news, everyone loses.
Zitat In a heated interview Saturday morning, author Michael Wolff accused a CNN anchor of "doing the work of the White House" to discredit his explosive tell-all book Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House.
Host Michael Smerconish pressed Wolff on how he gained access to top administration officials and how he asked for an interview with President Trump.
"You're doing the work of the White House to discredit this book. The White House wants to discredit this book," Wolff said.
That's how narrative works these days. You're either with me or against me. If you have any standards, you're doing the enemy's bidding. If you question Wollf in any way, you're a traitor to the #Resistance. Either you believe everything in Wolff's book, which even he admits is impossible, or you're a Trump minion.
Siding with Trump is a much more serious accusation than lying in lefty circles. And that means media circles.
Wolff is cynically relying on this attitude to get away with it. And mostly he has. There's been some media fact checking, but as a media headline also put it, it's too good not to believe.
Zitat "It's just a book. You either like it, or you don't like it," says "Fire and Fury," author Michael Wolf
CNN misspells Wolff's name. But that's also par for the course. Because who really cares?
It's just a book. That's a very Jon Stewart answer. I'm just a comedian. Watch my show or don't. Buy my book or don't. (You know you will.) Facts are silly. You either hate Trump or you don't. If you hate him, shut up and buy my book. It might not be true, but who cares what's on the other side of the looking glass. Only your feelings matter. And your ideology. Not the truth.
