Thursday in an appearance on NBC’s “Megyn Kelly Today,” Beverly Young Nelson, a sexual misconduct accuser of Alabama U.S. Senate hopeful Roy Moore, said she might have to leave Alabama if Moore is elected to the U.S. Senate.
In addition to the possibility of having to relocate, Nelson told host Megyn Kelly she had been followed since coming forward with those allegations.
Partial transcript as follows:
KELLY: Right now, this headache belongs to the voters of Alabama, and he is winning in the polls at the moment. You came out and gave that full recitation of what you say happened.
NELSON: I did.
KELLY: Are you stunned to see him six points up?
NELSON: I am stunned, totally.
KELLY: I mean, what does it mean to you, if he wins this race?
NELSON: I’m actually going to be scared. I’m going to be scared. I feel like I may have to, you know, move.
KELLY: Has anything happened to you since you came out as an accuser?
NELSON: I’ve been followed. You know, by some people. I have to be very careful wherever I go.
