Bill Nye: Climate Change Scientists Need To Wait For Older People To Die Amber Athey 11:06 AM 07/20/2017
Bill Nye said in a Wednesday interview that older people–who are more likely to deny the seriousness of climate change–need to “age out” before progress can be made on climate change.
Speaking to The Los Angeles Times, Nye argued that people are “scared” of change and those people need to “age out” so that the country can make progress.
“One’s intuition about climate change is not as good as facts about climate change,” Nye said of people who have skepticism about the scale and effects of climate change. “It just sounds like people are scared. It just sounds like people are afraid….Climate change deniers, by way of example, are older.”
“It’s generational,” he continued. “So we’re just going to have to wait for those people to ‘age out,’ as they say. ‘Age out’ is a euphemism for ‘die.'”
For the people who wish to make progress on climate change, Nye somewhat ominously promises, “It’ll happen.”
“But it’ll happen, I guarantee you — that’ll happen.”
Remember years ago how then Democrat governor of CO Richard Lamm informed the elderly and infirm they had a "duty to die" so as not to consume resources, especially medical resources? "We've got a duty to die and get out of the way with all of our machines and artificial hearts and everything else like that and let the other society, our kids, build a reasonable life." That sounds like Nye only from a different perspective, and reflects what Leftists really think about human life, even if those two are the rare voices who acknowledge it publically.
I cannot help but think about the Nyes and Lamms when I reflect on Deuteronomy, especially chapter 30 with its blessings and curses.

I cannot help but think about the Nyes and Lamms when I reflect on Deuteronomy, especially chapter 30 with its blessings and curses.
When I think of our "age" I think of Romans 1:18,22 "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth." and especially, "Claiming to be wise, they became fools"
Yes, it's a preference for death.
