I think this is good news. He seemed better than Osborn and Dinsdale was a Rat parading as a GOP'er....
ZitatRepublican Ben Sasse comfortably won his party's nomination for U.S. Senate in Nebraska Tuesday, handing the national tea party groups that backed him a much-needed victory headed into the heart of a congressional primary season offering few opportunities for success.
With most precincts reporting, Sasse led Dinsdale 48 percent to 23 percent, with Osborn running third with 22 percent of the vote. Sasse will be a heavy favorite in the general election considering Nebraska’s strong conservative tilt.

UPDATE: Ted Cruz issues statement on Sasse victory:
“Ben Sasse’s decisive victory in Nebraska tonight is a clear indication that the grassroots are rising up to make D.C. listen. They’re rising up to take our country back.
“We urgently need conservative reinforcements in the Senate like Ben who will stand with the American people, not the Washington establishment.
“Ben is a constitutional conservative who will not just ‘check the box’ and vote the right way. He’ll affirmatively fight to advance the conservative agenda, repeal Obamacare, and defend the Constitution.
“I congratulate Ben, his campaign, and all their supporters and commend the other candidates on their hard-fought efforts.”

You mean "The Great White Board"? A/K/A the architect of the stunning GOP successes of 2008 and 2012? That Karl Rove of "Play that Funky White Board" fame?

What's the bet that Tokyo Rove rolls out and claims victory here. He will say he was against Sasse in order to harden him for the brutal General Election he is facing in that ultra Red state.
