Three years to go and this guys name is mud. I don't even think Bush was thought to be a liar at the end. People just thought he was incompetent.
ZitatAbout six in ten American voters think Barack Obama lies to the country on important matters some or most of the time, according to a Fox News poll released Wednesday.
Thirty-seven percent think Obama lies “most of the time,” while another 24 percent say he lies “some of the time.” Twenty percent of voters say “only now and then” and 15 percent “never.”

President Obama has been accused by political opponents and media fact-checkers alike of telling falsehoods. Frequently cited: His repeated claim that under Obamacare “If you like your plan, you can keep it” and his insistence that “the day after Benghazi happened, I acknowledged that this was an act of terrorism.”
The number of voters saying Obama lies “most of the time” includes 13 percent of Democrats. It also includes 12 percent of blacks, 16 percent of liberals, 31 percent of unmarried women and 34 percent of those under age 30 -- all key Obama constituencies.
Yet some of those groups are also among those most likely to say Obama “never” lies to the country on important matters: blacks (37 percent), Democrats (31 percent), liberals (28 percent) and women (19 percent).
The poll also asks about the trustworthiness of a few possible 2016 presidential candidates. For comparison, about half of voters think former Sec. of State Hillary Clinton (54 percent) and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (49 percent) are honest and trustworthy, while fewer think the same of New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (41 percent).
On a more positive note for the White House, Obama’s overall job performance rating has improved. The new poll finds that 42 percent of voters approve of the job he’s doing, while 51 percent disapprove. That means he’s underwater by nine percentage points.

They had that killer mantra, "Bush lied people died" [And where are these people now?]
More have died over there under Barack Obama's watch already than under Bush's two terms.
They knew their accusation was a lie. But it was an effective lie. Who doesn't know the difference between a lie and a mistake?
These pathologicals from the enemy's camp lie and distort as a matter of routine policy!!! And they think they can ignore it! And when they get nailed in a lie, for the most part they do ignore it and they get the "progressive pass".
But do this often enough and long enough to the American public and they feel, "fool me once, fool me twice, fool me thrice" the saying about "shame on me" begins to take hold.

Given the last two election cycles, I don't think there is much reluctance on the American public's part to be fooled.
We've either reached - or are about to reach - critical mass. Critical mass defined as more than 50 percent on the government dole. And nothing else - corruption, lies, tyranny - matters.

This was the ultimate goal of manipulating the labor market through off shoring, bringing in guest workers at all levels and allowing them to over stay, and flooding the country with illegals - everyone dependent upon the government for the basics. For a time the damage to real income was hidden through cheap credit, importing consumer goods made by neo-slave labor, and false inflation stats.
There are some, including Phyllis Schlafly who argue that without government interference the minimum wage would be about $15.00 per hour. Raising it to that would remove many off government bennies and hopefully encourage a mindset of independence from government assistance. BUT it would only work if there were true immigration reform, i.e. encouraging self deportation of illegals and running immigration policy to benefit US citizens not global corporate and finance and their minions in government.

Part of that is true, but looking through the numbers on at least the '12 election, a lot of people fed up with Zero sat on their hands because Romney was no better than Zero. He was all over the map on getting rid of Zerocare. He couldn't effectively map out where he was going to improve the country. He had a record in MA of a Commie Pinko to look at. He stank.
The Right was burned hard by supporting Bush in '00 and '04 only to have big govt' programs, NSA spying and absolutely terrible fiscal policy jammed down our necks. Many people are going to need a non-Rove pimped candidate to vote for before they get involved again.
