Then why? A Sunni-Shia thing? Some Muzzie fanatic upset because people were having improper fun (that might work for the nightclub but presumably not the mosque)? A Kurd attack? An ISIS attack because Turkey is allied with Russia? Just because we are Muslims?
One thing for sure. The Middle East is a violent, violent place and the US ought think long and hard before allowing more and more people from that region to come here.

Not only a violent violent place but many of its people hold values that are incompatible with Western Civilization These people believe that whatever it takes to replace Western civilization with their values is totally acceptable.
Who in their right mind would bring such people into our country ?

ZitatIstanbul (CNN)ISIS claimed responsibility for the New Year's attack at Istanbul's swanky Reina nightclub that left 39 people dead, but authorities are still scrambling to find the killer.
ISIS' claim -- made in a statement posted to Twitter -- cannot independently be verified by CNN. But it boasted about the first major terrorist attack of 2017.
"In continuation of the blessed operations which ISIS carries out against Turkey, a soldier of the brave caliphate attacked one of the most popular nightclubs while Christians were celebrating their holiday," the statement read.
