Interesting in that Algore was politically, if not personally, close to the Clintons at one time. I wonder if this is payback to Hilliary or Bill for something.
ZitatAl Gore will skip this week's Democratic National Convention, The Tennessean reported.
His director of communications, Betsy McManus, said "obligations in Tennessee" would keep the former vice president from attending the convention in Philadelphia this week.
Gore is one of eight Tennessee superdelegates and is the only one who has not yet publicly backed a candidate.
Gore reportedly plans to hold off on making an endorsement until the Democrats officially nominate a presidential candidate, according to Politico.
Gore served as vice president for Bill Clinton, husband to presumptive Democratic nominee Hilary Clinton. Gore did not attend the 2012 convention either, but he spoke at the national conventions in both 2008 and 2004.

The Democrat version of Ted Cruz?
******* "Maybe God is trying to tell us something important- that now is not the time for a “nice Christian guy” or a “gentleman” or a typical Republican powder puff. Maybe now is the time for a natural born killer, a ruthless fighter, a warrior. Because right about now we need a miracle, or America is finished. Maybe the rules of gentleman don’t apply here. Maybe a gentleman and “all-around nice Christian” would lead us to slaughter." Wayne Allyn Root
