A big rig crashed while hauling beer across an overpass in Denver Wednesday, spilling cases of beer onto the highway below. The tractor-trailer wound up dangling over the Interstate 70 bridge, just above Interstate 25. KUSA-TV reports the crash caused major delays on the highway through the evening rush. Video and photos posted to social media show cases and cans of beer strewn across the roadway. A driver posted video of the beer spill on Instagram, writing, "It's not every day your favorite beer company gifts the streets of Denver with the refreshing taste of Miller Genuine Draft."
******* "Maybe God is trying to tell us something important- that now is not the time for a “nice Christian guy” or a “gentleman” or a typical Republican powder puff. Maybe now is the time for a natural born killer, a ruthless fighter, a warrior. Because right about now we need a miracle, or America is finished. Maybe the rules of gentleman don’t apply here. Maybe a gentleman and “all-around nice Christian” would lead us to slaughter." Wayne Allyn Root
Beer lovers all over can feel the pain of 60,000 lbs of beer lost.
There is a bright side to the potential sadness of this story.
Alert bystanders [heroes] rushed to the scene and were able to save some of the strewn cans. . . . .
