We're all friends here, so I'm going momentarily exchange my cowboy hat for a tin-foil one. I think all of us have pretty much the same opinion of the current WH occupant and his lawless regime.
Remember before he was even inaugurated? He would go around the country and give speeches behind a podium with an official looking emblem that said "Office of the President-Elect" Seriously? I don't think a big deal was made of it at the time, but to me it showed a level of megalomania that I believe was previously unseen.
Literally everything he and his party of criminals has done since has just underscored to me my original opinion. And I've had this nagging thought at the back of my mind that this regime may not end well, or it may not end at all. In other words, martial law.
This is where my conspiracy hat comes in. In my opinion, it would not be past him to use any excuse to declare martial law and cancel the election. In normal times, this would sound - and indeed it would be - dismissed as crazy talk. But we're not living in normal times.
We have no opposition party. And the party in power is completely and absolutely corrupt. So who would stop him?
Thoughts? (and feel free to call me crazy if you like. hey, if a friend won't tell you you're crazy, who will?)
I agree with you. I've thought for a long time now that Obama would never leave and no one seems to have the will to stop him. He's gutted the military, he's gutted the DOJ, he's gutted the courts, and Congress is meaningless. There is no one we the people can now trust. Martial Law is indeed key to this. We can already see the beginnings with the Obama inspired Black Lives Matter cop killers. What better way to declare Martial Law than chaos in the streets?
Its gonna get ugly, if its not already. And we're only just beginning to see the first salvos being fired by Obama's storm troopers.
Turning and turning in the widening gyre The falcon cannot hear the falconer; Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold; Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world, The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere The ceremony of innocence is drowned; The best lack all conviction, while the worst Are full of passionate intensity.
There are a lot of rumors out there about Obama possibly refusing to relinquish office and imposing martial law due to civil unrest. One rumor has it that this will occur because of violent demonstrations at both the Democrat and Republican National Conventions, especially the latter. Personally I am skeptical but the fact so many believe this possible says a lot about Obama and the atmosphere he has created.
One thing for sure: the shootings in Dallas show the relations between the races is, to put it mildly, fragile. We may be in for a long hot summer similar to the 60s and eventually white people are going to get fed up with the constant accusations of racism and the violence resulting. My heart and prayers go out to our first line of defense, the police. May God keep them safe and may God bless the United States.
