This creampuff, economically liberal Paul Ryan recently bent over and gave Obama everything he wanted in a spending bill. And now fresh on the heals of this rape of the citizens, Ryan is going to hold out supporting Donald Trump, until he can check out Donald's commitment to conservative principles???? DANG!!! Does it get any more Alice in Wonderland than this?
Big Warning!!! GOP-e BS to follow. TM

The House speaker said the presumptive Republican nominee first needs to unify the party and embrace “conservative principles.”
Donald Trump may be the presumptive Republican nominee for president, but he does not yet have the support of the party’s highest-ranking elected official.
House Speaker Paul Ryan said in an interview on CNN Thursday afternoon that he was not ready to endorse Trump, and called on the businessman to unify the GOP and embrace “conservative principles” in order to earn his support. “To be perfectly candid, I’m not ready to do that right now,” Ryan told CNN’s Jake Tapper when he asked if he would support Trump. It was a line he repeated in various forms during the 10-minute interview.
Ryan’s unwillingness to endorse Trump is a fairly stunning turn in the presidential race, and it comes after the speaker insisted for months that because he will serve as the chairman of the Republican National Convention, he was duty-bound to support whoever the party nominated for president. He did so even as he criticized Trump’s proposals to ban Muslims from entering the United States and for his refusal to condemn the eruptions of violence at his rallies.
“I think he needs to do more to unify this party,” Ryan said on Thursday. “Saying we’re unified doesn’t in and of itself unify us.”
“It’s time to set aside bullying, set aside belittlement and appeal to higher aspirations,” he added.
Ryan has become increasingly visible in recent months as Trump closed in on the nomination, trying to serve as a more substantive, optimistic counterweight as the leader of House Republicans. His effort to raise his profile stoked speculation that he would be drafted at an open convention, but Ryan quashed those reports by declaring that he would not accept the party’s nomination. He didn’t revisit that debate on Thursday, but he voiced concerns that Republicans would not “have a standard-bearer that bears our standards.”
“Conservatives want to know, does he share our values?” Ryan said. “There are lots of questions conservatives are going to want answers to, myself included.” Trump’s nomination represents a clear threat to Ryan’s vision of enacting a conservative agenda in Washington. He has criticized proposals that Ryan has developed to overhaul Medicare and Medicaid and shrink the size of government. The two are also at odds on immigration and trade policy, among other issues. And on Wednesday, Trump appeared to walk back his opposition to an increase in the minimum wage, opening another possible divide with Ryan’s brand of conservatism.
Reince Priebus, the chairman of the Republican National Committee, has already declared Trump to be the presumptive nominee. On Wednesday, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell issued a tepid endorsement of Trump while saying he had “the opportunity and the obligation to unify our party around our goals.”
Meanwhile as the R's decide whether or not to support the "presumptive nominee" TM holds onto his checkbook tightly!!!

Ryan and Repubs like him simply (pretend to?) fail to realize Trump is the progeny of their policies, lies, and indifference to their core constituency.
"I am not ready to support Speaker Ryan's agenda. Perhaps in the future we can work together and come to an agreement about what is best for the American people. They have been treated so badly for so long that it is about time for politicians to put them first!"
Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry told CNN Thursday he will support Donald Trump as the Republican presidential nominee and will do everything he can do to help him get elected.
Perry, speaking by phone from his hometown of Roundtop, Texas, acknowledged Trump is not his ideal choice. When Perry was a candidate for president earlier in the 2016 cycle, he was the first to come out and criticize Trump and question his conservative credentials, calling his candidacy a "cancer on conservatism."
"He is not a perfect man. But what I do believe is that he loves this country and he will surround himself with capable, experienced people and he will listen to them," Perry said Thursday. "He wasn't my first choice, wasn't my second choice, but he is the people's choice," Perry added.
After he ended his own bid for president, Perry eventually endorsed fellow Texan Ted Cruz, and campaigned hard for him. "When Ted said he is done and suspending his campaign -- that was the last individual who had a chance," he said, speaking of beating Trump.
"I believe in the process, and the process has said Donald Trump will be our nominee and I'm going to support him and help him and do what I can," Perry said. "He is one of the most talented people who has ever run for the president I have ever seen," he added, saying Trump knows how to market and brand like no one he has ever seen.

ZitatAs speaker of the House, Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) is used to political challenges, but one businessman from Ryan’s congressional district is not only challenging Ryan for his seat in Congress but also to debate him “man-to-man, face-to-face” over Ryan’s support for fast-tracking of the Trans-Pacific Partnership.
The man taking on Ryan in the Republican primary is Wisconsin business owner Paul Nehlen, a self-described “insurgent” candidate who’s adorned with tattoos and rides a Harley-Davidson motorcycle
“It’s not every day you see a candidate for Congress sporting tattoos, riding a Harley, and throwing down on a factory floor,” Nehlen said in his campaign’s first television ad. “But I’m not your everyday candidate.”
In the video ad, Nehlen focuses on Ryan’s “blatant, mercenary championing of crony international trade agreements, in particular, fast-track Trade Promotion Authority for the job-killing Trans-Pacific Partnership, frequently described as NAFTA on steroids,” according to a press release from his campaign.
“Mr. Speaker, you championed this trade deal,” Nehlen said. “Why don’t you come back to Wisconsin and debate me — man-to-man, face-to-face — on the realities of TPP. And if you don’t want to debate me, maybe we can arm wrestle.”
“It’s time to shed light on the truth of what Paul Ryan has been doing,” the businessman added. “He’s sold his congressional vote. He’s sold out Wisconsin’s 1st District. He’s continuing to find new ways to sell out Americans nationwide.”
Ryan will face Nehlen during Wisconsin’s Aug. 9 primary. Nehlen announced his candidacy last month.
Just sent him a C note. Ryan has to go. Then he can lobby with Cantor.
Pz you're my kind of guy!!! I think I'll do the same! Let's change the world one dirtball at a time.
