ZitatBernie Sanders slammed Hillary Clinton on Sunday for holding a pricey fundraiser hosted by George Clooney and the actor's wife, Amal.

For two seats at the head table with Clinton and the Clooneys at the April 15 fundraiser, a couple must contribute $353,400.
Another fundraiser held a day later at the Clooney mansion in Los Angeles will cost guests $33,400 a ticket.
“I have a lot of respect for George Clooney,” Sanders said. “He’s a great actor. I like him. But this is the point. This is the problem with American politics, is that big money is dominating our political system, and we are trying to move as far away from that as we can.”
I recall how I often used to ridicule that other tribune of the peepul, Barack Obama, for how much he would charge at one on his little soirees; but he never, to my memory, ever charged this much (inflation?). It's also stupid of Clooney and Clinton to do this given how Bernie has been running his entire campaign on criticizing things like this. Oh, well, it can't but help the Republicans, so go for it you guys
Cruz2016! But right friendly to Trump supporters, anyway.

Look for Hillary to get a speaking part in the next George Clooney pic?
