I don't have the link at the moment, but apparently there is code around NY and Chicago referring to rat-f******* as meaning snitch. In other words Cruz was calling him a snitch. I used to know a DEA agent and a snitch did usually have his facts straight, so it looks like to me with that statement that Cruz wasn't denying the accusations, he is upset he got 'ratted' out. Words mean things.
