While Illinois voted in its presidential primary election Tuesday, a national conference call was convened between movement leaders. A mix of progressives from around the country and from national organizations participated in the call, as well as BLM strategists, demonstrators, and messaging experts eager to figure out ways to assist.
One of the key issues discussed was the effectiveness of direct action protests at Trump events. Although the actions draw media coverage, two sources on the call said organizers worry that because Trump seems to be immune to shame, these protests simply put black activists in harm’s way but have little effect on Trump.
“It was tough to think about this idea that a black person goes to do an action at a Trump rally and gets beat up, and then it wasn’t exactly forcing a shift in the discussion about Trump we desired,” said one organizer, who asked BuzzFeed News to withhold their name from this story because they were still reaching out to groups. “It was almost annoying to watch.”
For the life of me I don't know why Trump doesn't read a different newspaper article each day at his rallies highlighting examples, like the above, of extreme TDS, as well as future coordinated attacks.
He could certainly do it in good humor, but let's remember what a powerful tool ridicule is.
I'd nip a bunch of this stuff in the bud...they'd look pretty ridiculous if called them out on their exact plan two weeks ahead of time. It's ALWAYS best to be proactive rather than reactive.
I think he's going to have to stop holding public rallies because of the large percentage of protesters who are taking over his events. I don't see any way to prevent them from attending 'en masse' and interrupting his presentation every few minutes. It gets very annoying.
And now the people who used 'stand up and shout' and were quickly ushered out are being replaced with more violent and organized "disruptors" swinging, wrestling and resisting their removal. "Get him out of here!" isn't that unreasonable a thing to say if you've paid for a party and a 'resisting arrest side show' becomes the featured story.
But the press, the Left and the limp-wristed Republicans are making the side show the main event and that's not good for Donald to be featured like that night after night. Something has to change.
******* “We cannot continue to allow ourselves to be influenced and molded by the political class and by the media. That is going to destroy us," he said, remarking that it's "kind of sad" that the press is the only business protected by the Constitution "because they were supposed to be the allies of the people." I heard today that they won't have the 5 or 6 day "heads-up" on the rallies anymore, just a day or two. He will probably also be more careful of the venue. In addition, they may shuttle people in from a parking lot 3 or 4 miles away rather than have them park right outside the venue.
I also heard a suggestion that there be a nominal fee for a ticket to the event (a dollar or two) to be paid via credit card. Then when people are arrested or make mayhem the damages can be charged to their own credit card.

What a shame. We can thank all those who tolerated this behavior and allowed 'room to destroy'.
I love the idea of ridicule.
I also like the idea of a nominal fee paid by credit care. The credit card can yields lots of good information for screening and charging damages.
