IMO, doesn't matter where you fall on the political spectrum, this thing stunk from day one. SO many things have bothered me as this non-story evolved, but most of all how people will do or say ANYTHING to push an agenda. What price for a man's reputation?
Credibility can be sold out so easily. And they have the nerve to wonder why we detest the media? It will be interesting to see if they continue to circle the wagons now or if the whole thing just gets sent to the cornfield. Ben Shapiro, Megyn Kelly? Will you admit you shot from the hip?
Note how the report of assault has been widely broadcast. These videos, however, will get limited distribution and most certainly not the hype the original claims got. The truth will out, especially if Trump sues, but how long will it take and what will be the cost in Trump's reputation?
Cruz2016! But right friendly to Trump supporters, anyway.

And what cost to Trump's campaign manager's reputation ??
I just saw a relevant article: Establishment Playbook to Defeat Donald Trump Echoes Smears Against Barry Goldwater by Aaron Klein12 Mar 2016
In recent months, hysterical opponents of Donald Trump have stoked fears about his candidacy by likening the billionaire to Hitler, raising questions about his mental health, attempting to tie him to the Ku Klux Klan, claiming he may pose a nuclear threat, and warning that a Trump presidency will disrupt international diplomacy and the world order.
While these sentiments might seem novel to most political observers, the template for such attacks may have been set more than five decades ago. All these claims were deployed against Senator Barry Goldwater during his 1964 presidential campaign, which was widely considered a threat to the political establishment.
Countless commentators have compared Trump’s candidacy to Goldwater’s insurgent presidential run. But largely missing from the debate is how Goldwater faced some of the very same attacks made against Trump.
