ZitatDemocrats and the dominant media assure us that vote fraud doesn’t exist, so we certainly don’t need voter ID, and in fact it would be racist to demand as much proof of identity as is necessary to board an airplane or buy a drink. Nevertheless, a Democrat state representative in Connecticut was arrested for allegedly voting 19 times.
The New Haven Register (hat tip: Weasel Zippers) reports:
State Rep. Christina “Tita” Ayala, D-Bridgeport, was arrested Friday on 19 voting fraud charges.
Ayala, 31, is accused of voting in local and state elections in districts she did not live, the Chief State’s Attorney’s Office said in a press release.
According to the Connecticut Post, Ayala’s mother, Santa, was also investigated by the Elections Enforcement Commission. The commission also recommended criminal charges be filed against Santa Ayala, the Democratic registrar of voters in Bridgeport, but none have been filed as of Friday.

— Former state Rep. Christina Ayala was given a suspended sentence Friday after pleading guilty to state election law violations.
The 31-year-old Ayala, who was elected in 2012 to represent the city’s East Side, agreed under a plea bargain not to seek elective office for two years.
The plea deal came as Ayala, who lost a primary for re-election to her state House seat last year, was about to go to trial in the case.
She pleaded guilty to two counts of providing a false statement and was sentenced by Superior Court Judge Earl Richards to a suspended one-year prison term followed by two years of conditional discharge.

(f) refrain from having private personnel deputized as law enforcement personnel in connection with ballot security activities.
I used to try to figure out why the gop does not seem to care about blatant democrat election fraud. It goes back at least to Nixon in 1960 - and "landslide Lyndon" before that.
I don't try to figure it out anymore. It only serves to drive one crazy.
Almost as crazy as believing there is an opposition party.

Wow, that will show her and will so frighten others who might do the same or similar, that the punishment simply isn't worth it.
