I had no idea about any of this and do not have a Sam's Club in my area (we have Costco). Now just imagine some white guy said the same things with race and sex reversed. The righteous guardians of diversity would burn down every Sam's in America. How did this woman get this position?
"Remember when Sam’s Club far-left, black, female CEO Rosalind Brewer openly admitted on CNN that she planned to fire a supplier she met with because she was disgusted that his management staff had too many White males.
Well, now a boycott is being organized against Sam’s Club after the racist, sexist comments by Brewer.
From Gateway Pundit:
A boycott is being organized against Sam’s Club after racist, sexist comments by its far left CEO.
Sam’s Club CEO Rosalind Brewer outraged customers after she admitted to openly discriminating against white males in an interview.
Brewer openly admitted to institutionalized racism at Sam’s Club during an interview with Yahoo.
Mad World News reported:
Rosalind Brewer presides over one of the largest wholesale clubs in America, and apparently, she’s a raging liberal, according to Yahoo! Finance. She recently did an interview with CNN and revealed that to her, the color of one’s skin is more important than their contribution to the company, and her number one priority is ensuring her corporate team is diverse, rather than the most efficient it can be.
“It has to start with top leadership,” Brewer said. “My executive team is very diverse and I make that a priority. I demand it within my team.”
On top of ensuring that minorities get priority in the hiring process at Sam’s, she also said that she favors female employees and encourages Sam’s Club partners to do the same. The controversial remark she made is below, and you’ll see why people are so upset after you read it.
Just today we met with a supplier and the entire other side of the table was all Caucasian males. That was interesting. I decided not to talk about it directly with [the supplier’s] folks in the room because there were actually no female, like, levels down. So I’m going to place a call to him.
People are making a statement with their wallets and the political correctness has brought many to the boiling point. Only time will tell what effect this boycott will have on Sam’s Club.
Diversity based on bigotry is never acceptable. There is probably a reason as to the makeup of a management team–it’s called qualifications–NOT color.
If Ms. Brewer can’t be professional in her attitudes, she’s the wrong person for the job, plain and simple. She sounds more suited for a job somewhere in Barry’s cabinet. She could become his “race relations” czar."
Boycotts fail. Failure doesn't. Since this shithead took over in 2012, she has lost revenue price per square foot at Sams Club stores after years of solid growth. If you can't make gains in this terrible economy at a discount retail outlet, your a failure. Her social engineering is failing and the board of directors isn't going to sit around and watch market share go to Costco.
Diplomacy is the art of saying 'Nice doggie' until you can find a rock.

I wish I shared your optimism about the board. In our PC crony world diversity may well trump profits. To be unPC is to risk the wrath of sundry apparatchiks
"The backlash prompted Walmart President and CEO Doug McMillon to issue a statement about the retail giant’s position.
“For years, we’ve asked our suppliers to prioritize the talent and diversity of their sales teams calling on our company,” McMillon said Monday evening. “Roz was simply trying to reiterate that we believe diverse and inclusive teams make for a stronger business. That’s all there is to it and I support that important ideal.”" https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/morn...s-on-diversity/
