I'm feeling really bad for her. Only those of us who are truly gorgeous know what a burden it can be. Going through life having men toss themselves at us, not having to complete the job interview before getting a job offer, not having to pay for a paper at the newsstand, having crowds part before just to gaze on our visage....it's beyond rough. It's truly a terrible burden, or to use the word of the month: it's absolutely horrific.

I feel your pain, Sanguine, and want to point out the very funny Tina Fey did a show about this very phenomenon on her sitcom 30 Rock. The guest star was Jon Hamm as a totally incompetent but strikingly handsome doctor. Here's a small part of that show when Liz Lemon (Tina) discusses the problem with co-star Jack Donahey (Alec Baldwin).
Yeah, yeah, I know the politics of practically everyone involved sucks, but the show was quite funny.
"This is the most lavishly funded and entirely moronic foreign ministry on the planet."~~Mark Steyn's description of the US State Dept.
Okay, I have to slip in this trip down memory lane now that you posted that, Cincy.
About 30 years ago, my sister and her BF were walking in Santa Monica and there was a couple in front of them. The woman was an attractive blonde, but my sister, being the red-blooded, All-American gal that she is was focused on the male. She described him as being dressed in a black leather jacket and black jeans, and being the handsomest man she ever saw in her life. When he ultimately turned around she saw that it was Alec Baldwin, who, at that time, really did look very much like a young William Holden. (World's handsomest man EVER in my opinion.)
Anyway, my sister is a real movie buff and has seen every movie ever made, old and new, at least a dozen times. She was saddened later on, after he started being vocal about his politics and she found out what an a**hole he was. Same thing with Ed Harris, she had a crush on him and after finding he was a big lib with a big mouth...well, forget it Charlie.
Now that I got that off my chest, back to your regular programming...
