New Extremism Disruption Orders should be applied to those who “teach” Christian views about marriage in the classroom (

Mark Spencer MP wants to introduce banning orders which would prevent schools teaching about the Christian definition of marriage
A Tory MP has said that the anti-terror laws used to prevent hate speech should be applied to those who teach that gay marriage is wrong.
Mark Spencer, the MP for Sherwood in Nottinghamshire, has promoted the use of Extreme Disruption Orders (EDOs) to prevent teachers from disseminating the traditional Christian idea that marriage should only be between a man and a woman.
EDOs are new measures introduced by David Cameron and Theresa May, designed to prevent the spreading of radical ideas by jihadists.
Mr Spencer wrote in a letter to a constituent that Christian teachers were still entitled to teach their views on same-sex marriage, but only in certain situations.
This has raised fears amongst Christian campaigners that those who believe marriage should only be between a man and a woman will be branded extremists.
The EDOs have been introduced as a measure not only to prevent the spread of extremism but also to promote “British values,” defined in the past as including democracy and tolerance.
However, the proposal to extend the orders to teachings about gay marriage has been criticised by The National Secular Society, which argues that they could be one of the biggest threats to freedom of expression ever seen in the UK.
The National Secular Society supports gay marriage but says that the EDOs will undermine free speech.

This should be very interesting. The article references how this guy wants to prevent "teachers from disseminating traditional Christian idea" that marriage is a man and a woman. No teaching this traditional marriage stuff. OK, we figured this was coming, didn't we? I mean every step on this slippery slope we heard it wasn't what they wanted. They just wanted to be recognized as equal.
But I suppose Mark Spencer just forgot to mention the Muslims doing the same thing as well, hey? One curious mind would like a clarification on this one! TM

I find this so amazing because the first time I heard the term "hate speech" was from a Marxist in the 70s. At the time I was very active in Libertarian politics and we were working with the members of both the Socialist Workers Party (Trotkyist) and the Revolutionary Communist Party to prevent the reinstatement of the draft. I forget what the discussion was about but during whatever it was a member of the SWP declaimed angrily about whether someone should be allowed to engage in "hate speech".
From that putrid intellectual pool of over 40 some years ago to today. Makes one wonder. Makes me wonder.

The decision of the global collectivists to engage in a slow soft brain washing designed to replace the traditional American culture in all arenas has proved frighteningly successful. Warning from those such as Sutton, McCarthy, Paul, Bezmenov, ... have been defused by ridicule.
When I think about it we have been sold what is labeled cultural marxism using many of the same techniques used to sell us consumer products we neither want nor need.
" . . . in reality, the main emphasis of the KGB is not in the area of intelligence at all. According to my opinion and [the] opinion of many defectors of my caliber, only about 15% of time, money, and manpower [are] spent on espionage as such. The other 85% is a slow process, which we call either ‘ideological subversion,’ or ‘active measures’—‘[?]’ in the language of the KGB—or ‘psychological warfare.’ What it basically means is, to change the perception of reality, of every American, to such an extent that despite of the abundance of information, no one is able to come to sensible conclusions in the interests of defending themselves, their families, their community and their country . . ."

There are those who sell the EU's surrender to Cultural Marxism as 'sophisticated' and 'urbane'. They ridicule us 'red necks' who value freedom and personal responsibility.
