Donald Trump’s not worried about hearing ‘you’re fired’ — and he’s not about to backtrack on his beliefs. Right after NBC cut all ties with him, the presidential candidate was already in a press conference, and revealed that even though NBC doesn’t agree, he still stands by the controversial remarks on Mexican immigrants. Following being dropped by NBC on June 29, Donald Trump, 69, revealed that he was not going to backtrack and that NBC was actually just mad that he was running for president. The network announced that they were ending their entire business relationship with Donald Trump, dropping both Miss USA and Miss Universe, while Celebrity Apprentice would continue with another host.
“They didn’t want me to run, because they wanted me to do The Apprentice,” he said at a press conference. “I just told them I cannot do The Apprentice, because I’m running… They are gonna take a different stance and thats okay. Whatever they want to do is okay with me. As far as ending the relationship, I have to do that, because my view on immigration is a lot different than the people at NBC. NBC may not agree with me. I told NBC I cannot change my stance. The fact is my stance on immigration is correct.”
Of course, the comments that he is referencing were those made during his announcement that he’d be running. “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best…They’re sending people who have lots of problems,” he said. “They’re bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime, they’re rapists, and some, I assume, are good people.”
During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act.___ George Orwell
I would have never guessed that Trump would be the one with the clout, financial independence, and ability to sue those who would take economic revenge on him to speak the truth about what tromps over out open borders or the devastation wrought by so-called 'Free Trade Agreement's.
"“What I think he doesn’t understand and what people don’t understand is words create emotional poison…Hitler moved a nation with words, just words,” the actress said. “So you have to expect this backlash. If you say something like that, as he has said, you must expect a backlash.”"
I guess Eva discounts the emotional and physical pain of little girls getting raped, American getting maimed and killed by illegal alien drunk drivers who flee the scene, drive by shootings by MS-13, workers enduring decreased income secondary to taxes for welfare and incarceration of illegals. ....etc.
Now before Eva counters with a well worn liberal response, there are American born rapists, I'll give my standard answer. Yes there are; no on asked the government to import more.
Based on the ultra conservative number of 13 million illegal aliens, FAIR onservatively calculates the net cost of illegal aliens to be be $113 billion per year.
A more realistic number of illegals is 30 - 40 million and counting.
