Nothing worse than the supposed Commander-in-Chief sending Americans to die in vain.
Via CNSNews:
Seventy-four percent of the U.S. military personnel who have given their lives fighting in Afghanistan died after Feb. 17, 2009, when President Barack Obama announced his first increase in the number of U.S. troops deployed there, according to CNSNews.com’s database of U.S. casualties in the Afghan War.
In the more than twelve years that have passed since U.S. troops first entered Afghanistan with the aim of removing al Qaeda from its sanctuary there, 2,162 U.S. service personnel have given their lives in and around Afghanistan in support of U.S. military activities in that country.
1,593 of those 2,162 U.S. casualties—or 73.7 percent—have occurred since Feb. 17, 2009, when Obama announced the first of his multiple increases in U.S. military personnel deployed to Afghanistan.
The other day we learned Obama had no faith in the mission he was ordering.
Barack Obama’s former defence secretary has said the US president lacked faith in his own policy to send tens of thousands more troops to Afghanistan in 2009, saying he was focused on “getting out” despite ordering a surge.
In comments in his book, Duty: Memoirs of a Secretary at War, Robert Gates says Obama didn’t trust his military commanders, couldn’t stand the Afghan president, and didn’t believe in his own strategy to renew the fight against the Taliban by committing 30,000 additional US troops to the war.
In the book highlights, released on Wednesday a week ahead of full publication, Gates says of his experience in 2009: “As I sat there, I thought: the president doesn’t trust his commander, can’t stand Karzai, doesn’t believe in his own strategy, and doesn’t consider the war to be his. For him, it’s all about getting out.”
Nothing worse than the supposed Commander-in-Chief sending Americans to die in vain.
And for strictly political reasons only.
Obama ran as an anti-Iraq War candidate but said the war in Afghanistan was "the right war". He risked nothing by saying that about Iraq but by declaring Afghanistan "the right war" he avoided being seen as someone who would cut and run everywhere. He didn't mean a word of it, and the so-called surge was merely window dressing for his real policy of getting out of there as quickly as politically possible.
The troops who have died under his command have died in vain to serve his political needs and, as with most sociopaths, I don't think he gives a tinker's damn about them or their loved ones.

Shutdown Denies Death and Burial Benefits to Families of 4 Dead Soldiers!
WASHINGTON — The families of four soldiers killed in Afghanistan last weekend will not receive death benefits or the money to pay for their funerals because of the government shutdown.
The bodies of Sgt. Patrick C. Hawkins, 25; Pfc. Cody J. Patterson, 24; Sgt. Joseph M. Peters, 24; and First Lt. Jennifer M. Moreno, 25, will arrive at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware on Wednesday. The four soldiers were killed Sunday in the Zhari district of Kandahar Province when enemy forces attacked their unit with explosives.
But if their families want to meet the plane, they will have to pay their own way to Delaware.
Under the shutdown, Carl Woog, a Defense Department spokesman, said on Tuesday, “the Department of Defense does not currently have the authority to pay death gratuities and other key benefits for the survivors of service members killed in action.”
I do not believe Obama cares for any other human being, not even his kids. He is the center of his universe, all else revolves around him. He is, in a word, a psycopath: a person with a psychopathic personality, which manifests as amoral and antisocial behavior, lack of ability to love or establish meaningful personal relationships, extreme egocentricity, failure to learn from experience, etc.
