Rand Paul Attacked by BLM Mob Following End of RNC This isn't the first time Senator Paul has been assaulted by leftists by Jack Hadfield August 28, 2020
Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) was assaulted by a mob of BLM activists in video recorded as he exited the White House following the closure of the RNC on Thursday night.
Senator Paul was leaving the White House when he was surrounded by a mob of “over 100” BLM activists, who started being aggressive to Paul and his police protection. Footage shows the crowd encircling Paul and his wife, Kelly, along with the officers.
While being largely successful in moving through the crowd, who were chanting BLM slogans, this was interrupted when one police officer who was holding a bike as protection was pushed into Rand Paul and his wife by the mob.
Senator Paul later thanked the officers from DCPD for “literally saving [the lives of him and his wife] from a crazed mob.”
In an interview with Fox and Friends on Friday, Paul detailed the incident which he described as “horrific,” and called for an FBI investigation and arrests into those who he believed would have killed them if not for the police.
“I truly believe this with every fiber of my being, had they gotten at us they would have gotten us to the ground, we might not have been killed, might just have been injured by being kicked in the head, or kicked in the stomach until we were senseless,” Paul explained:
Zitat You’ve seen the pictures of what they do to you. If the police are not there, if you defund the police, if we become Portland, if America becomes Portland, what’s going to happen is people are going to be pummeled and kicked in the head and left senseless on the curb. That would have happened to us, I promise you, had we not had the D.C. Police to support us, we are thankful we have police, and we’ve got to wake up. We can’t have the whole country, we can’t have Joe Biden rule the country and have no police. I mean, we can’t walk down the street in D.C. safely now. That’s how bad it is.
He added that he believes the mob wasn’t simply a random act of violence, but included people who were “paid to be anarchists,” and bussed in from outside DC. “This is disturbing because really, if you’re inciting a riot that’s a crime, but if you’re paying someone to incite a riot that person needs to go to jail as well.”
How can you leave the WH and be set upon by some mob? Did not the DC police and the Secret Service know the barbarians were at the gates? Why didn't they take appropriate measures to safeguard the attendees?
I am most pleased Senator Rand and his wife escaped serious injury, but I am at a loss as to how this was allowed to develop.
An attack on a sitting senator and his wife shows the revolution has entered a new, more dangerous phase. The authorities cannot, or will not, control the mob. It is becoming increasingly clear we the citizens will have to.
Senator Kennedy On Harris Becoming Biden’s VP Pick: She’s AOC ‘Without The Bartending Experience’
Bernard Kerik was on the Ingraham Angle tonight, and raised the issue of the curious lack of police at the WH exit. It is his opinion this was done purposefully by the DC authorities so the mob could act without restraint.
