ZitatAs you well know, the Democrats are trying to destroy the career of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh over a suspiciously timed 35-year-old allegation of sexual assault, but they aren’t getting anywhere with it.
With the entire political left and their mouthpieces in the media circling the wagons around leftist college professor Christine Blasey Ford who is able to tarnish the reputation of the well-respected judge, is it not hypocritical that a woman who came forward with allegations against a leading Democrat has been shunned by the party and ignored by the media?
Karen Monahan, who is the former girlfriend of possibly future Minnesota attorney general Keith Ellison, has repeatedly tried to be heard above the din of constant outrage of the Trump era over how her then-boyfriend physically and emotionally abused her.
But she has been greeted by the sound of crickets and a cold shoulder from the party that likes to promote itself as the champions of women.
And unlike Ms. Ford, Monahan has actual proof.
In what should be a huge news story considering Rep. Ellison’s national stature, Monahan posted a copy of her medical report on social media to which there has been the sound of crickets.
[Interestingly Ms Monahan commented about the report, "When I post this, it gets deleted every time."]
"Karen Monahan, the woman who claims that Democratic Rep. Keith Ellison (MN) abused her while the two were in a relationship, released what appears to be medical records on Wednesday that show she told her physician in 2017 that Ellison had physically and emotionally abused her and that she was afraid to speak up because she feared retribution.
Monahan released a photo of her medical report from 11/28/2017 on a Twitter account identified by numerous media outlets as being her account.
“She states that she was in a very stressful environment for years, emotional and physical abuse by a partner with whom she is now separated,” the report states. “She identifies the individual she was involved with as Congressman Ellison, and she is worried about retribution if she identifies him publicly.”
The lack of attention given to Monahan is stunning given the rush to judgment against any influential male who is unfortunate enough to find themselves standing accused by the #MeToo movement and nowhere is this more the case, than in Ellison’s home state of Minnesota.
Karen Monahan, the woman accusing Minnesota Democratic Rep. Keith Ellison of domestic abuse, responded to a Twitter user on Monday who asked if Democrats believe Monahan’s allegations, saying they don’t, and that she’s been threatened and isolated from her own party.
