Interesting, no? Newsmax is believed by many to be a Conservative publication, and yet...
"Conservative website Newsmax has pledged a very large donation to the Bill, Hillary, and Chelsea Clinton Foundation, a new report in the Wall Street Journal states.
"Newsmax, a conservative news organization, last year pledged $1 million to the Clinton Foundation over a five-year period, according to a spokesman for Chris Ruddy, the organization’s CEO. Mr. Ruddy has been friends with the Clintons since 2007," reports the Journal.
"Through a spokesman, he said the donation wasn't tantamount to an endorsement of Mrs. Clinton’s potential campaign, though he thinks she would 'make a great presidential candidate.'"
Ruddy himself has even written a blog post for the Clinton Foundation website. The topic? "Public-Private Partnerships Advance Health Care in Mozambique."
"Christopher Ruddy is a noted journalist and entrepreneur. He currently serves as CEO and President of Newsmax Media, one of the nation's leading online news media companies. In 1998, Chris founded Newsmax Media, a multimedia publishing company that publishes online and offline content in the fields of news, politics, health and finance. Newsmax.com is consistently ranked as one of the country's most trafficked news websites," reads his bio on the foundation's website.
If I'm looking for a story and Newsmax is the only source, I don't consider that a very good source. Newsmax is trashy already but this contribution to the Clinton's slush fund certainly damages its credibility even further. How else can you call it?
When Mrs Clinton wants to say she has "donated" one of her excessively large speaking fees from a university to charity, her "charity" is the Clinton Foundation of course. Over the years they've funneled over a billion dollars into the Clinton Foundation. Quite a scam and if Newsmax wanted to do a story on that sleaziness, that'd make a far better news story than Chris Ruddy chumming up to the Clintons by making a million dollar contribution.
Newsmax goes way down in credibility with this senseless donation.

Stop trying to make the Ferguson protests something they weren’t. And, just as importantly, stop trying to make Michael Brown, the man shot to death during a fight with police Office Darren Wilson in August, something he wasn’t.
“If you look at the most credible evidence, the lessons are really basic ... don’t rob a convenience store. Don’t fight with a policeman when he stops you and try to take his gun. And when he yells at you to stop, just stop.”
Ruddy has been an opportunistic phoney for decades and everyone knows it. No big Conservatives cite Newsmax for anything they are so bad. Hell Ruddy came out recently and defended Zero as good on the war on terror and the Bergdahl deal. He is a less gay David Brock.
