On here we talk mainly about politics but the war we are waging goes far beyond that. The sickness that is Collectivism (elitism) permeates our culture and has become a part of the intellectual air we breathe. This short video covers but one aspect of that sickness. (Others would be music, cinema, dramas as presented on stage and on TV, etc.)
I do not think the development of this art of the ugly was accidental. The Communists saw early on how such art could be dispiriting and intellectually enervating. Hence the Frankfurt School (which we have talked about before). Hence the "Manifesto for an Independent Revolutionary Art" written in part by Trotsky and signed by "outstanding" artist André Breton and Diego Rivera. Even that master of the ugly, the morally degenerate Picasso considered himself a Communist, all the while making millions and millions of dollars off the stupid capitalist museums and art galleries which supported him.
Our job of winning back America is going to be difficult but not impossible.
Allahu Akbar" is Arabic for "Nothing to see here"~~Mark Steyn explaining the reaction of Obama, Hollande, et. al., to Muslim terror attacks.
If it looks like something you'd scrub from the metal backsplash in your kitchen, it ain't art:

I've often wondered how we got to this point. How works by terrible, no talent, so-called artists became lauded and classical art seen as passé.
One theory I had is that some no talent bum ingratiated himself to a wealthy benefactor.
After seeing the finished work, those of similar wealth and social standing as the wealthy benefactor, dare not express criticism for fear of being ostracized by the in-crowd.
And the wealthy benefactor himself doesn't want to admit to being swindled by a scam artist.
The scam caught on and spread.
It's not that different from The Emperor's New Clothes, really.
